Hello and welcome to my first official story, it is a pleasure and an honour to see that you all are here to read my story. Before we start, I would like to clarify and explain a few things beforehand.
1. I am an unexperienced writer: I am new to this publishing and writing scenario, and as you can see this is my first story, be it a fanfic. So I would really appreciate constructive criticism, but I would request you all to not spread any type of hate here, except for the character I write in a way I want you to hate.
2. Commentors: I would request all of you to be respectful of others in the comment section, if there will be any, and please be respectful to my story. If any of you do re-read, then I would kindly ask you to comment, but please do not put the #rr or anything related to re-reading as to not spoil the story for others. I would hardly delete the comments as I wish to trust my fellow readers and writers to please respect and adhere to this guidelines I have asked them to follow. I will only delete a comment if there are any derogatory, hateful or discriminatory comments. So please refrain from writing so. I wish to make this story a safe space for people who just wish to sit back, read and talk to other people without fear of being judged.
3. Copyright: Most of the work and world building is not mine and rightfully belongs to Rick Riordan, who I would like to thank for giving us such a wonderful world to enjoy. I, however, do own the other original characters that you will encounter during the books, and some of the plot changes that will occur.
4. Plot: I will be playing around with the plot a lot, including original pairings and the character's personalities. I request you to bear with me in hopes that it will make sense. I would like to point out most of the characters, including Percy, will be morally grey, some more darkly inclined than others. I will be aging the characters a bit to give them a bit of more maturity to handle the trauma they go through.
5. Characters: There will be some characters that will not be as well liked, like some. Luke will be one of those characters, as I -as a reader- never really connected with him and rather looked at the damage he had done as more of contributing factor to my dislike for him. If you like Luke, I would ask you to try another book if you cannot see my point of view for his dislike. I would also like to point out that I will not be able to save all of the characters that die. Some deaths, as sad as it is to be said out loud, are meant to happen. I will prevent some deaths, but not all, as a way to not deviate from the plot too much. I will also be bringing in some characters before they are introduced in the books because of the plot I have in my mind.
6. Pairings: I would like to point out that I have majority of the pairing already decided, or some in the works -except Percy's because I can pair him with literally anyone and still get a great pairing out of it- and will not be changing them. I would like you to please accept this decision of mine, and please refrain from being sad or mad about it. I have thought very deeply about the pairings, before coming to a final decision. If you wish for me to tell you the pairings, I can either do in the comments if others agree, or I can privately message them to you, I don't mind doing either.
7. Writing Style: I would like to point out that my first language is not English, and despite topping in the subject, I am still human and prone to making mistakes. If you see any, I would request you to tell me so I can correct it at the earliest convenience.
8. Updating schedule: I am a teenager who writes for fun, so I would ask you all to bear with me and allow me to update at my own pace without being bombarded with requests to to update. Once or twice is alright, but not all the time. I would like to say there will be time when I will take a lot of time to update, be it due to me re-reading the book or due to course work.
9. Comments: I would like to ask all of you to please comment and tell me about how you liked the story. As a person who is usually insecure, they will encourage me to write more often and update more too.
10. My Announcement Board:My announcement board is where I post most of the author's notes and all, and would appreciate it if you interacted there with me if you didn't want to do it in the comment, which I would appreciate as well.
