After Sarauniya left, Fatima stood up to leave, but Muhammad gently grabbed her hand and pulled her back. She lost her balance and fell onto his lap. She looked up at him, puzzled.

Muhammad's eyes twinkled with a familiar mischief as he said, "We have unfinished business."

"Let me go," she insisted, her tone firm. "I don't have any business with you," she protested, trying to hide her growing smile.

But he just held her tighter, his smile softening. "I think you do," he said quietly.

"You can't be serious," she protested, squirming slightly. "Let me go."

He paid no heed to her words, holding her close. Then he whispered, "You are so gorgeous."

"You are absolutely beautiful," he whispered, his eyes locked on hers. "A freaking angel, my angel."

She tried to hide her blush, but he caught on quickly. "Are you blushing?" he asked with a teasing grin.

Unable to respond, she buried her face in his neck, her cheeks burning. She heard him burst into laughter, the rumble of it vibrating through his chest and making her feel all giddy inside.

"Please, let me go," she pleaded for the last time.

He finally loosened his grip, but before he did, he whispered, "Don't even think I'll let you go next time."

Before she hurriedly left, she threw him a final, flustered glance. Once she reached the bedroom, she locked the door behind her. She jumped onto the bed, hugging a pillow tightly, and squealed with delight. She kicked her feet in the air and giggled, feeling like a giddy schoolgirl with a crush.

That morning, the maids brought breakfast to her room. She didn't want to face Muhammad because she was still embarrassed. As she nibbled on her food, she couldn't help but replay their interaction in her mind, her cheeks flushing at the memory.

The maid informed her that Muhammad had taken his medicine. She nodded in response, grateful for the update but still feeling a bit uneasy about facing him.

She went to the kitchen to dispose of her plates when she suddenly bumped into something solid. Startled, she looked up and saw Muhammad standing there. Before she could stop herself, she let out a groan of embarrassment, feeling flustered all over again.

"Avoiding me?" Muhammad's voice broke through the awkward silence. "Come on, you could do better than that."

Fatima glared at him for a moment before turning to keep the plates. As she moved to leave, he grabbed her arm gently. "Why the rush to leave?" he asked softly, his eyes searching hers.

"I have something to do," she said, her tone clipped.

"Is that thing more important than your husband?" he retorted, his voice tinged with amusement.

"So what do you want?" she asked, her voice softening.

"You," he replied simply, his gaze unwavering.

"You can't be serious," she said, trying to hide her surprise. "Oya oga sir, I have to go."

He gently pulled at her scarf, and her hair cascaded out, causing her to gasp. She had only loosened her hair a few days ago and had been wanting to plait it.
