The week have passed uneventful with me staying at home except for the drive we go with Zara and she have improved a lot, we just watches a movie sometimes, it seems Zara like that.

A knock on our front door make us both startled, I looked at Zara questionably and she look clueless, I wanted to go upstairs and take my gun before checking who is at the door but Zara is here which means I can't do that

I walked cautiously to the door and checked through the peephole and see Edward.

What is he doing here?

I opened the door for him and he walked in

"Hi baby girl" he greeted Zara with that annoying smile and she embarrassingly smile

"Hi" she waved at him, her cheeks getting pinkish, I take that as my cue to leave them alone and went upstairs to my room

I lay on my bed going through my phone and decided to check about the orphanage, sometimes I think about the kids there, how they are coping, if someone has reported them or if they still continue what they were doing

I heard a knock on my door and stand up from the bed and walked to the door letting Zara in

She stand in front of me shifting nervously from one leg to the other "uhm" she said pausing and looking at the floor like that is the most interesting part of the room "he said we should go out, can you come with us" she finally asked

So that is why she is shy "I don't want to be a third wheel, you can go you and him I will be fine" i said to her but she pouted

"Come with us please" she begged singing the please in the process, she is not letting me escape this is she

"Where are you guys going" I asked

but she just told me "it is a surprise"

I don't even understand Edward anymore, if that is how people in love behave then I don't want to fall in love

"Okay I will go" I finally give in

"Yay" she do her little dance and dashed out of the room saying let me get dressed

I picked my gun and tucked it in my trouser, put on a hoodie and a sneaker and walked downstairs, I met Ethan sitting like a gentleman and watching the news on the television

It is something about the jeon enterprise and I see his jaw clenched "this reporters will have it coming there way once father decides to dealt with them" he said through clenched teeth

"We shouldn't talk about this stuff around Zara" I whispered to him, wanting him to change the topic because Zara can't know

"But she is going to find out sooner or later" he said picking the remote and off the television

"She must not find out okay, Zara is a scaredy person, she is scared of bugs, cockroaches, rats almost everything and I don't want to add the mafia to her fears" i said walking closer to him

"She is the woman I want to marry and I will tell her everything about me when the right time comes, I'm a honest man and you know that" Edward said

"I don't care, just don't tell her, Zara should never find out" I said.

"What should I not find out" I turned so fast that I almost get a whiplash

I saw Zara standing on the stairs looking at me curious about what we are discussing, has she heard all our discussion, I see Edward ready to talk to her, he is probably going to spilled everything out but I did not wait to hear what he will say and intervened before he told her everything

"Nothing much, just discussing business ideas" I rushed the words out

"Okay" she said smiling and Edward walked to her side and take her hand heading to the door

Is this how I will keep following them.

I locked the door and we get into his car and he drive out of the driveway to god knows where, I sat quietly at the back just letting them talk there thing, after all I'm here because Zara wanted me to come along, I could have stayed at home

Edward drive to a fancy restaurant and we were directed to a booth at the far left corner and a waiter came to take our order.

The food came and Edward decided to take his spoon and fed Zara with his hand, fetching the food from his plate and putting the spoon in her mouth, why am I here in the first place

Will it be bad if I just go home from here

And Edward use the napkin to clean the side of her mouth, that's it.

"I think I'm done here" i said getting up but Zara hold my hand

"Don't go, it is a nice place" she whispered pointing at the expensive dish that I didn't even touch, I know she said we should come together so that I will experience a dinner in an expensive restaurant too but I'm good.

"I just need fresh air I will wait outside" and she nodded letting go of my hand

I walked outside and stand at the parking lot near Edward car and redhead called

"Is your sister together with boss" redhead yelled the moment I put the phone on my ear, can't he just for once start with a hello it will be better

"Yes they are together" i answered him

"I have been calling him but he is not answering my calls, tell her to tell boss to leave wherever they are now, the scorpions are there"

And right that instant I saw a van coming into the parking lot with a little scorpion diagram at the handle of the car, holy mother fucking shit Zara!

I rushed back into the restaurant and walked to the booth where I left them and met only Edward sitting I sat back on the chair and asked him "Where is she?"

"She is in the restroom" did he let her go on her own, I will have that talk with him later for now I have to get my sister quick and let him know what is going on

"The scorpions are here" I whispered to him because the couple's at the other side booth have a scorpion tattoo, the man on the neck and the lady on her arm

Edward try to turn around to look but I shake my head a signal for him not to let them know we understand them, we have to be discreet.

I text the restaurant address to redhead because if my hunch is right they are all scorpions men pretending to be customers
