We are currently eating waffles and eggs that Zara made and chitchatting regarding last night, she has developed a liking to Mariah already
"Invite her today again" Zara said from her chair
"No no we are not doing that, we would go on a date first then she will come here" i said and Zara just picked my phone from the table and walk out of the kitchen. That's odd
She comes back a few minutes later with a mischievous grin plastered on her face, what did she do
"Mariah is coming this evening" she announced
"What!" I exclaimed exasperated "you..." i said pointing my finger at her "can't do that"
"I didn't do anything" she lied, I know she is lying, she used my phone to call her. I playfully glared at her
"Don't do things like that, why not call your own boyfriend instead" i said and then realized what I just said, I apologized immediately.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean it like that"
"Don't worry about it, I will call him soon, I still... uhm... love him" she whispered shyly "I just want to punish him for keeping a secret from me" she grumbled the last part glaring at the other side of the wall, folding her hands at her chest, you know that thing women do to show they are angry
"Woah calm down mama bear" i said to her and we burst out laughing
"Don't call me mama bear" she said trying to control her laughter
"And don't call my girlfriend" i said
"Ah now you are accepting she is your girlfriend!" Zara screech loudly in her high pitched voice
"Lower your voice!" I yelled for her to quiet down
"I'm just happy my brother is finally in love!" She screeched again, she stand up and do her little dance and I can't help the genuine smile plastered on my face
We have really come far from where we started on the street and we will never get back to that life I promise her that. a good life and everything Zara wanted is what I'm looking forward to, she is my first priority
"Do you still want to be with Edward" i ask now serious and she shyly nodded
"Then don't hesitate, whatever you want go for it" i advice
"Okay" she agreed
"I will tell him you want to see him" i said to her finishing my food and taking the plate to the sink.
I do the dishes and went to the living room, I on the television to watch something and that is Zara's influence on me, I'm not a movie fan.
Later in the evening I dress, ready to set out to the mansion when I heard a knock, but before I walk to open the door Zara just run pass me almost pushing me and opened the door
I see Mariah standing at the door looking so beautiful that I can't stop staring at her
"Come in" Zara invited her in, smiling from ear to ear, it seems she is more happy to see Mariah than me.
"Hi" Mariah greeted me when she is fully inside the living room.
"You look beautiful" I commented and she blushed, I went to touch her pink cheeks but Zara drag her
"Let's go to the kitchen, teach me how to bake" and they happily walked to the kitchen leaving me behind. wait a minute, that's my girlfriend
I followed after them to get my woman but the happy smiles on their face while mixing the flour is priceless.
I quietly walked back and get into my car and drove to the mansion. I'm a happy man.
I parked my car at the garage and walked into the living room, I met redhead and Edward trying to figure out something in the laptop on Edward's hand
"Valentino go to the guest room and get us Sam, we need to track some people" Edward said without taking his eyes off the screen
"On it boss" I nodded quickly walking to the second floor to the room at the far corner and barged in, but I'm not prepared for the scene in front of me
"Didn't your parents taught you how to knock, ha ha, oops, you don't have them" Louis said with a smug look and I charge towards him, today is the day he will die and that too in my hands
But wait, let's not forget what I saw.
"What are you guys doing before I get in here" I asked looking from Louis then to Sam in confusion
"What does it look like we are doing" Louis answered with a smirk on his face
"You are kissing?" I ask in disbelief staring from Louis to Sam
"Why are you looking surprise" Louis enquired and Sam is just looking at the tile then the window
"I thought you like Mariah" I can't help to voice my thoughts out
"No I was just wanting something to get back at you and that works" he laughed "beside I can see you love her from the look of adoration you were sending towards her at the cafe, and the way you get protective whenever I talk about her means you love her, I have only see you that protective over your sister" he said patting me on the shoulder and I decided to walk out of the guest room
What just happened.
I went down stairs my brain in a fuzzy, I have always thought Louis is... straight.
"Where is Sam?" Edward ask when he see only me coming down the stairs. I have even forgotten to tell them what take me upstairs in the first place
"Why are you looking like you have seen a ghost?" Redhead asked
"Uhm Louis and Sam-"
And redhead chuckled seeing my struggle to put everything into words
"They are more than just friends, now go back there and get Sam for me" Edward boomed and I walked back to the guest room and knock this time around, Louis open the door.
"What do you want now?" He groaned annoyed
"Boss want Sam downstairs, now" i said and he banged the door on my face, I hate him.
