Me: I'm feeling nice so here is another chapter.

WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?" HER DAD SHOUTED AS Sophie set foot through the door. His round face—usually so soft—was bent and twisted into hard lines.

Sophie: He does not look like that.

Ro: "usually so soft" Girl what....

Sophie: It's the only way I can describe it, okay! You'd understand if you saw him!

Her mom rubbed her temples. "We almost called the police."

Sophie's eyes burned with unshed tears. Her parents, her house, her whole life for the past twelve years—this was the last time she would see any of it. It was far, far too much for her brain to process, so she did the only thing she could do. She raced across the room, threw her arms around them, and hugged as hard as she could.

Dex: Aw :[

Edaline: This is sweet yet upsetting. I'm sorry you had to leave them, Sophie.

Sophie: It's alright *hugs her* They're in a better place now anyway.

Tam: That sounds like they're dead.

Fitz: Do you have a filter??

Tam: *Whips out a coffee filter* Always carry one with me!

Biana: Why.

Tam: I never know when I'll need some black coffee to keep me sane. But it's usually every hour I'm with you guys.

Biana: I- It's almost like on top of that, you're going to whip out a bunch of tea bags.

Tam: *Whips out twenty tea bags* I have green, white, oolong, herbal, peppermint, jasmine, matcha, chamomile, ginger, lemon, hibis-

Keefe: Okay, we get it! You're obsessed with tea! Now, mind if we continue reading?

Tam: Damn. Snappy much?

Keefe: I really truly hate you.

Tam: Me too. Tea?

Keefe: No. Nobody wants tea.

Biana: Hey! I do!!!!

"Did something happen, Sophie?" her dad asked after a minute. "Your school called and said you left early." His mind flashed to unspoken horrors.

Sophie cringed away from his thoughts. "Nothing bad happened. It's just been a strange day." She buried her face into her mom's side. "I love you guys."

"We love you too," her mom whispered, totally confused.

"What's going on, Soybean?" her dad asked.

Dex: SOYBEAN??

Keefe: Team Soybean-Keefe.

Sophie: What.

Keefe: Huh. It has a nice ring to it.

Sophie trembled at the nickname—proof that she really didn't belong with her family.

"She's just trying to get out of trouble," Amy said, bouncing into the room. She loved watching Sophie get busted.

Linh: Well I mean, isn't that the point?

Biana: "Trying to get out of trouble" Yeah, we've been doing that for like... forever

Marella: The entire point if our existence is getting out of trouble. If we didn't get out of trouble we'd probably be six feet under, buried by the Neverseen.
