Junior US Opens 2006
Sierra Sterling hated doubles. In singles you didn't need to rely on anyone you were alone with the ball and your opponent, and Sierra liked that. You didn't have to decide with your partner who was gonna hit the ball next and you didn't have to guess who would be the one hitting it back on the opponent's side. In doubles it was messy and unpredictable but in singles it was just you and your opponent with the ball. Though Sierra felt strong feelings against doubles she couldn't help but find herself watching a doubles match between fire and ice at the Junior US Opens. She found the match intriguing like no other. The doubles pair wasn't guessing who would take which hit they were united together in the game and well it looked like they were having fun. Maybe that's the part that interested her or the fact that those men happened to be very attractive. Both of the pairs were rallying back and forward and the guy with dark curly hair hit a trickshot, scoring the game point. The two guys jumped into each others arms with the anticipation of winning the game, embracing each other. When receiving their awards they kiss their trophies and as Sierra saw that happening all she can think to herself is how she'd let them obliterate her insides.
Patrick and Art eagerly walked with their trophies in their hands heading in the direction of the food court.
"Let's get some food for Tashi Duncan's match,"Patrick says.
"What's with your big obsession with Tashi?" Art asked, looking towards his friend.
"It's not an obsession, she's just a really good tennis player. Trust me it's unreal watching her and she's so hot." Art laughed at his reply.
"I watched her match against Sierra Sterling yesterday and it was unreal. Honestly I couldn't tell you who was hotter." Patrick said as the two boys got in line at the food court. They couldn't help but find themselves distracted by yelling coming from behind. They saw a gorgeous girl with long dark curly hair with specs of blonde highlights who wore a tight mini pink tennis dress accentuating all of the girl's curves matched with simple gold tennis hoops.
"Logan I'm actually gonna fucking murder you! Okay yeah whatever whatever. I'm hanging up now people are staring at me like an idiot."The girl said, slamming her flip phone. "Holy shit that's Sierra Sterling." Patrick whispered to Art, earning an eager grin from him. Sierra joined the line behind the boy and couldn't help but recognize them.
"Hey I'm sorry but you guys are fire and ice right?" The boys nervously turned around shocked she was talking to them as they replied to her question with a simple
"Yes" in unison, she couldn't help but notice them slyly checking her out.
"I just watched your match and I've gotta say I tend to hate doubles but you guys actually made it look interesting and enjoyable." Sierra acknowledged as Art sheepishly laughed.
"Glad to know we did," Patrick said in a flirtatious tone, gaining a smile from the girl.
"I'm Sierra by the way, I play a little bit of tennis myself."
