Last Chances

Ut oh!

Peter, Ben and Lily had returned from their holiday to Tenerife to find that their house has collapsed and is now a pile of rubble on the ground. The three of them stare at what would be there house with their mouths wide open not saying a word for about a minute. They were all shocked. Lily was the first one to speak "What has happened to our house?" Just then their neighbours Mr and Mrs Wilson run over to the family to tell them that there was an extreme earthquake. Mr and Mrs Wilson continue "we tried to call you on numerous occasions but we couldn't get through to your phone". "What are we going to do?" asks Lily I am going to phone Billy and see what he can do for us says Ben.

Hello mate not spoke to you in a while whats wrong?

I need to ask you a favour, Would we be able to come stay at your house for a bit as our house has been demolished and turned to rubble as there was an earthquake whilst we were away to Tenerife on holiday.

Oh dear, Yes no problem mate just come round whenever you want says Billy.

Peter, Ben and Lily all get in their battered old nissan colonel and drive round to Billy Belrose's house. Peter becomes speechless and turns his mouth into an o shape as he sees what is ahead of him. They drive through the gates to see a massive brick mansion standing alone in the middle of the gardens. There is a big water feature at the front of the house. A big double entrance door with pillars at the side of the doors holding up the second floor. Each room has large windows leading onto a balcony that looked over the picturesque gardens. "How do you know this family?" Peter asks curiously. Billy was my best friend at high school who I have managed to keep in touch with. He is a very talented man and also very kind. You will be meeting his wife and his two children so be on your best behaviour Peter.

Peter turns to face his dad "Yes I know dad first impressions count".
