In English we were reading Romeo and Juliet. Peter is in my English class which is a bit awkward. Helen and Leah are too. I got given the part of Juliet and Peter got the part of Romeo. As I wiggle around in my seat trying to get comfy my pen falls onto the floor with a gentle bash. A few faces turn as if I had just killed someone. The class soon comes to an end thank fully so I begin to put all my stationery into my pencil case before zipping it shut. Walking out of the class Peters foot touches mine, our bodies are inline with each others, arms are touching and we are trapped in between two desk. He gestures for me to go first just like what a gentleman would do. He has never done that before to anyone.

I can't stop thinking about Peter and the little smirk that he pulls whenever he finds something funny or he gets an answer correct. The smell of his Tom Ford aftershave is to die for. The first smile he ever gave me when he first entered my house was like he already knew me. I can't help think of how much he is an idiot though he is such a prat. But he is so beautiful.

I took him home. The car journey is awkward. I don't know what to say to him incase he completely disowns me and thinks that I am stupid then doesn't speak to me ever again. That would be extremely devastating.

Peter

If it was anyone else in the classroom I would have just looked down upon them and then barged into them but for some reason it was a completely different moment with Emily. She isn't even my type. She never even said thank you. I wanted to laugh at how embarrassed she looked when she was walking away but I couldn't. Helen and Leah aren't bothered what they get for exam results at the end of the year where as I do deep, deep down I am a nerd.

I guess thats something me and Emily have in common.

The school day is over. I get in the car with Emily and we head back to her place.
