chapter 4

it's been exactly four days that Vincent has been coming here, Silvestri hasn't showed up and nor has Kori, who the hell is even this Silvestri, not a good news for sure but should i google him?

i google his last name,  have no idea what's his name is and picture of him shows up, it was clearly taken by paparazzi, i look through it and turned out he's CEO of the most well known law firm, Nova legal... there's nothing legal about him though 

i try to search more about him but there's nothing, all it's written is abut his law firm, people who work there, no age nothing about him, and even no dramas, there's nothing

suddenly i see my phone buzz, i look at it ad see a massage from an unknown number

Unknown: if you wanted to get to know me you could have asked

Me: who is this?

Unknown: forgot me already? guess it's time for a visit

Me: what visit, who is this

the person didn't answer me after that, today i worked from four to nine, i decided to go to my local library i been searching for a book, i looked through lot's of them, i want them all, but my wallet said, put the damn book back

in the end i couldn't find the book i was originally looking for, so i got back home, i opened the door, i didn't change and went to kitchen, I'm so hungry

i opened the fridge and see... nothing much, i really need to go grocery shop, i see singular tomato, i take it, wash and cut it and made tomato sandwich 

mayonnaise on both slices of bred, tomato, little salt and that's it, i eat it in no time, was it enough? no, but it's whatever i guess, i been in worse situation

'that's all you gonna eat" i flinch, look in front of me and see him

"what the hell" i yell

"i used the door as you suggested" that's not what i mean and he knows it

i sigh "next time knock maybe and wait for me to invite you in" i suggest

"will you let me in?"

"NO" i state

"exactly, that's why i don't ask" i bite my cheek and stare at him

"i see you're alone today"

"is that a problem?"

"so you won't kill me... today" i state 

"and you assumed that because?"

"i don't think you're the one who cleans the mess that you make"

"nether does Nicolai" so other mans name is Nicolai

"okay, it's good you're here because i don't been rest of six days, i know where Mr. cooper lives, and little more about him too"

"tell me about it, may i" he asks about the chair, and i nod

"he had three wife's his entire life, from 20 to 30 he's been living in Paris, France , on Rue de la Republique street, they split up and after a year he married his second wife, maria, they been together for 15 years, she passed, he was single for few years and then remarried again to his third wife at the age of 50 but she died 6 years later, no grandchildren, no kids, he's currently here for business and is staying at hotel names laurn, although he lives in new jersey because it's quieter then here, on 10th street, he has house on Allen street" he listens to me

"you found out all of that in four days, how" he questions, not four days, more like 5 hours, he was there each day little over an hour

"it was easy, he's really sweet actually, i don't understand what someone like you want from him" 

"don't get used to him, he'll be gone soon" he said and my eyes widened

"you're not gonna kill him are you" i ask and his silence said it all

my eyebrows furrow "you got what you wanted, now get out" i say as i raise my voice

"do not raise you voice at me or I'll make sure that you wouldn't be able to"

wait this could have two meanings

"don't think too much about its meaning, I'll fuck you to death" and he left, i quickly go and lock it

I'm shocked, but then i hear a door bell ring, is it him? but he wouldn't ring the bell, i open the door and see it's a delivery

"one peperoni and one vegetarian pizza for Abigail?" he questions

"that's me but i didn't order it"

"i don't know, it's already paid for so" he hands me

"I'm sorry but who ordered" i ask

"he gave me a good tip to not say anything, and it was online so" he shrugs

"how much"

"100$" he says, it was him for sure, i thanked the delivery man, took my phone and text the Unknown number

I started to eat the pepperoni one, why did he bought vegetarian option?
