I'm running through busy streets, trying to make it to the interview, i applied Entry-level office assistant role. I'm trying to mind my own business when all of the sudden i hear him
"Abigail please wait, can we talk" i ignore Kori, but he won't leave me alone
"quit ignoring me Abby, look at me, can we talk" gosh he won't leave me, i stop and so does he
"i can't, I'm busy" i state with a serious tone
"i have time, i can wait'' i ignore him once again,
i kept walking and once i got to the building i went inside, i look behind and he came in too
"don't you dare follow me in" he looks down and then walked out
i sit there, wait for my name to be called out, I'm kind of nervous, i take deep breaths
"Abigail Colette" my name was called out, i stand up and went into a room where they told me to go
i was meet with a red haired woman, in her late thirties and a man little younger, i take a seat in front of them and before i could say anything they spoke
"Ms. Abigail, thank you for coming in today. We're excited to learn more about you and your interest in the entry-level office assistant position." the woman said
"Thank you for having me. I'm thrilled to be here" i smile, I'm nervous
"Let's start with a simple question. What motivated you to apply for this position?" easy
"I'm organized and thrive in fast-paced environments, making this role a perfect fit. My previous retail experience has honed my multitasking and customer service skills."
" How do you handle multitasking?" she's so serious
"I prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance and communicate openly with my team for support"
"Can you share a challenging situation you've handled?" shit
"During a busy holiday season, our inventory system crashed. I manually tracked inventory and ensured minimal disruptions by collaborating with my team" our POS started to glitch, i hit in on the ground and it started to work
"How do you handle feedback?" not good...
" I view feedback as an opportunity for growth and actively seek to address areas for improvement." i answer
"Why our company?" her vibrant red hair is irritating me
" Your commitment to employee development and high-quality services aligns with my career goals" i lie, i just need money
"Thank you, Ms. Abigail. We'll be in touch" you better be
"Thank you for the opportunity" i smile one last time and then walked out
i hope they'll hire me, for now i do have a part time job which is Customer Service Representative, people call and i transfer them on to hospital line, fire departments,
i thought anxiousness passed with interview being done with but no, Kori was waiting for me outside, his face lights up once he sees me, mine doesn't
i turn away and walk
"hey hey, Abby, please" he stops me by putting his hand on my shoulders
"fine" i tell him, it's been a week since we last talked, he offered to sit somewhere, we ordered our some stuff and once we were waiting he spoke
"Can we talk?" he questions
"isn't that why we're here"
"Look, about last week... I messed up. I shouldn't have talked to you like that. I was out of line, I've been thinking a lot about what happened last week, and I want to apologize. I shouldn't have raised my voice at you, and i really am sorry"
