Chapter 6 - Enjoying the view

Lucy's pov:
I get changed into my days outfit and slowly walk into the kitchen where Tim is flipping Omelets he looks back at me and he smiles

Tim) "Look at you! Making progress so fast!"

I smile back at him

Lucy) "Yeah, it's feeling a lot better. Only hurts a little."

I walk over to the island where I see a note. I read it:

Morning Lucy, I'm at the library if you need me or anything. Hope you are feeling a little better.
I hope you enjoyed your night with Tim 😏. -Love Tam

I shook my head slightly and rolled my eyes

Tim) "Oh there's a note? What does it say?"

I handed it to him as he read it and
He too sighed

Tim) I'm sorry Luce, I told her we were waiting until marriage but she must of assumed we weren't when she saw my truck still outside. I can talk to her."

I shrugged

Lucy) "it's whatever. She's not gonna believe us even if we do tell her the truth"

Tim) "You're probably right"

I sit on the barstool carefully and Tim places a plate of Omelets and pancakes topped with different fruits, whipped cream and syrup in front of me.
My jaw slightly dropped.

Lucy) "T-Tim...this is Beautiful..but I'm not sure I can eat all this.."

Tim) "Nah it's fine don't feel pressured to eat it all. Whatever you don't eat we can save or I can run it over to Kojo."

Lucy) "Since when did you become such a talented Chef?"

Tim) "Since I was born I guess.."
He chuckled
While I jokingly rolled my eyes

Lucy) "You're cute."

I'm sitting on the couch on my laptop while Tim takes a shower, he doesn't know it but I'm actually shopping for his birthday gift.
I sit there scrolling until I hear sounds of pain and heavy breathing..
Tim... I rush up, still cringing at the pain in my stomach and knock on the door to the bathroom

Lucy) "Tim?!? Everything okay in there?"

........no answer....

Lucy) "TIM!.....I'm coming in"

I pick the lock and look and see him..lying on the floor in his shorts having a hard time breathing..
Oh gosh
I kneel down beside him and rub his back

Lucy) "Hey..Tim...talk to me..breathe.."

I lifted his face up to see tears streaming down his face
It broke my heart

I didn't know what to do but I hated seeing him like this.

I gave him a kiss and he thankfully returned it. He slowly stopped shaking and his breathing evened out some.

Lucy) "Hey! There you are... I love you. Panic attack?"

Tim nodded
Tim) "I-i love you too... I'm sorry you had to see me like this..."

I shook my head

Lucy) "You're so handsome anyway you are. I don't care."

Tim smiled slightly

Tim) "I don't know what happened... I was just getting out of the shower and had alot of thoughts run into my head and all of the sudden thoughts of my Dad's abuse, Losing you, Isabel's addiction... It a-all came rushing back.. and I just couldn't breathe."
