?) "Alright if you don't mind getting up on the chair and lifting your shirt up please."
I did just that
?) "Hi Mrs.Bradford, I'm Dr.Hinnard. I will be taking care of you today. Is this your first appointment?"
I nod
She put a cold gel on and moved the wand around.
It took Dr.Hinnard a few minutes to say anything. My worry started to grow. Just then Tim could notice and he held my hand tighter.
Dr.Hinnard) "Well Mom and Dad looks like you are about 7 weeks along. Your little ones are about the size of a blueberry!"
Wait? Excuse me!?
I look over to Tim and he also has his jaw dropped. I now notice he's looking at the wall where a picture is projected

Dr.Hinnard) "Yes!! Congratulations y'all are having Twins!!"
She tilts the computer monitor to show us different parts of our babies.
Lucy) "Oh my gosh!! What!!?"
Dr.Hinnard) "I'll step out for a few minutes to print your papers that a nurse will hand you. Your next appointment is in 5 weeks. Congratulations again!"
She leaves the room
Tim hugs me tight on the table I look up at his face and we both have happy tears in our eyes.
Tim) "Luce!!! What in the world! That's crazy but I'm so happy!!"
I totally forgot that Tim has an Aunt who's a twin
Lucy) "I'm still shocked!! They don't run in my family so it must be from your side!"
We still haven't told anyone yet so we are beyond thrilled! There's definitely a good chunk of people we have to tell. We decided to tell Tamara first since she was basically like our daughter and since Celina lives with her we are gonna tell both of them. As soon as we stepped out of the elevator doors we came in contact with John in uniform Ahhh
John Nolan) "Oh hey you two. Everything okay?"
I quickly hide the sonogram I was holding behind me.
Tim) "Yeah. Yep. Everything's all good. What are you doing here?"
John. Oviously weirded out have us a suspicious look.
John) "Coming to check on an assault victim but they should be alright."
Lucy) "Cool, well we're gonna head out. Nice seeing ya"
John) "Yeah...you too."
The sonogram pictures were so thin and light I didn't realize I dropped them upside down out of my bag when I shoved them in a few seconds ago.
