"Come again?" Kausap ko sa telepono ang tauhang inutusan kong bantayan ang pamilya ko.

It was Friday night and I'm getting ready for tomorrow's event when I got a call from Kiyo. He reported something.

Anito ay may kaunting problema na nangyari. Pero ang problemang sinasabi n'ya ay isa sa pinakakinatatakutan kong mangyari sa pamilya ko.

My godchild, Maureen's daughter was raped by her step father. Her name is Erica and she's 15 years old.

Nanginginig ang kamay kong nakahawak sa telepono.

"Kill that motherfucking fucktard, Kiyo." Nanggigigil kong saad.

"W-Well, my Queen, uh..."

"What?!" Bitin kong tanong.

"Nasa korte po sila." Fuck?

"And?!" Iritadong ani ko.

"Hindi ko pa po alam ang resulta. Pero alam ko naman na siguradong makukulong ang lalaki dahil yung lawyer na mismo ang nagpa-DNA test sa step father ng biktima at ng anak nito." Paliwanag n'ya na ikinalaglag ng panga ko.

"Anak?!" Gulantang kong tanong.

"Y-Yes, Queen!"

"Fuck that! Kailan pa nangyari?!" Naiiyak kong tanong.

"Five months ago, Erica gave birth to her daughter. Ang akala daw ni ma'am Maureen ay nag boyfriend ang bata at nagalit daw dito kaya hindi na muling pinalabas si Erica. Hindi n'ya alam na nasa loob ng bahay nila ang ama ng bata. And her stepfather did it again. She's pregnant with her second child." Mahabang litanya n'ya.

I was left speechless because of what I heard. I remembered someone causing me to tear up.

I closed my eyes as I remembered how 'she' smiled when I told her that 'he' died.

"Make sure that they'll win the case." Nanginginig ang boses ko nang sabihin iyon.

"Parang ayos naman si Attorney Caganda. She's so soft and Erica was so comfortable with her." Napaawang ang labi ko.

"Si attorney Jessa Mae Caganda ba ang tinutukoy mo?" Gulat kong tanong.

"Yes, Queen. Kilala mo pala si attorney?" Aniya.

"Yes." She's a good lawyer. No. She's one of the best lawyer I've ever met. She's emotionally fragile but she never give up. She's a strong woman.

I wiped my tears and smiled.

Now I understand why Erica's lawyer did that. She's eager to win the case and send the rapist into prison.

"Send that fucktard to hell, Kiyo."

"My pleasure, Queen." Sagot n'ya bago binaba ang tawag.

Napapikit ako ng mariin.

She couldn't help herself before that is why she's determined to do this. She wanted to help other angels. Gusto n'yang makuha nila ang hustisiya na nararapat para sa kanila.

You did a great job, Jessa. Thank you for not giving up. You have no idea how thankful I am because you exist.

Hinilot ko ang sentido ko at binasa ang text message na galing kay Ken.

Ken:

Affirmative, Queen. Pupunta ang sinister bukas ng gabi. Kaunti lang ang pupunta sa kanila dahil may ibang event daw na pupuntahan ang iba.

I smirked after reading the message.

Iniutos ko sa kanila ang pagbabantay sa kalabang familia.

It's been two days after I sent them to watch over the sinister.
