All of them settled down when they saw me in front.

"Maybe you already have an idea what this meeting's all about." Ani ko at humalukipkip.

"Inside of this room are my trusted carnificials and the newbies. I am Recca Aragon, I am the leader of this familia. And I welcome you all." Ani ko at nagsimulang mag lakad.

"La Nostra Famiglia was founded, February 12, 2029. Just like in other organizations you, maybe, joined recently or maybe before, this familia has rules. These rules must remain unbroken by any of the brothers, or sisters, especially the higher carnificials. Why? Let's discuss that later. First, these are the absolute rules that this organization has:" I paused for a while and crossed my arms.

"Rule number 1: Never take sides with anyone against the family. Loyalty is one of the sacred traits one must have. Without loyalty, there is no trust. Without trust, there is nothing." I looked at them with my serious face.

"Rule number 2: Never encourage love strokes in the familia. We are family for a reason. Do not fuck your sisters and brothers. That's just disgusting." I don't think they will get what I'm trying to say, tho.

"Rule number 3: Never encourage disrespect in the familia. No matter who you are, where you've come from, what your gender is and whatsoever, you are free to do whatever you want. You are free to be who you want to be. But never forget this one thing: Be free with boundaries. And be free without getting anybody hurt."

"Rule number 4: Never commit to something that could tear the family down. Either lying, cheating, or betrayal. As I've said, loyalty is the most important thing in this familia. Betrayal comes with a huge price." I slightly massaged my nape.

"Rule number 5: Never disobey any of the orders. These rules must remain unbroken. You want this familia, you abide by the rules." Nanatili silang nakikinig at nakatitig lamang sa akin. Pinagmamasdan ang bawat galaw ko.

"This is not like the family that you have. May I just remind you that you are in the underground society which is way more difficult from the life you once had. But that doesn't mean that you are being deprived to live that way again. As I've said, you are free to do what you wanted. Just make sure to avoid breaking the rules. Breaking the rules has consequences. No other than— death." Nagtinginan ang iba at ang iba ay walang imik.

"Maybe the other families in this society will give you second chance but I won't. You did it once and I'm never gonna give you the second chance to do it and if you don't like that, that is none of my concern anymore. I don't give a fuck." Mariing ani ko.

"Why kill your family?" A girl asked, giving me a cold stare.

I smirked at her.

"Why betray your own family?" Balik ko sa kanya. Hindi s'ya nagsalita.

"As I have said earlier, breaking the rules has its consequences. If you are afraid of dying, why break the rules? It's so simple." Dugtong ko.

"Families are bound to protect one another. But if one becomes a threat..." Nilingon ko si Rico na napalunok nang magtama ang mga mata namin.

"He or she must be served as what he or she deserves." Malamig kong ani.

"If any of you wants to ask, your hands aren't tied up." Ani ko at sumandal sa isang upuan malapit sa akin.

"I've been in a familia before and they have so many rules. But you only have five?" He asked.

I chortled.
