Jelly and Rico doesn't even know the value of honoring omerta. They didn't even think twice before spilling the truth in our faces.

"I need to go." Ani ko kay Kai. Nandito kami sa sala. After juicing out information from the two hostages, pumunta kami rito. Pinaalam ko na sa boys ang mga sinabi ni Rico at Jelly patungkol sa plano ni Ken.

Rico asked for a deal. He wants to make sure he'll be with his fiance after telling us Ken's plan. But who the heck does he think I am?

Damn that deal of him.

He betrayed us and the rule is to end those who are not loyal to the familia. And as I've said before, I don't give second chances. That's foolishness.

"Where?" Tanong niya habang nakapahinga ang braso sa likod ko.

Hinawi ko ang buhok ko at inabot ang alak pero agad niyang nahuli ang kamay ko para pigilan ako sa pag inom.

Bahagya akong umirap.

"I just want to check on Rico's fiance and see my friends. Hadn't heard anything from them in a while." Ani ko. Kampante akong umalis ngayon. Hindi ko alam kung bakit.

Maybe because he's proven his loyalty? Or, not at all.

He's been doing things without my knowledge. He's secretive and I don't know what the heck is my problem trusting him over and over again when he cannot even give me honesty!

Umirap ako.

My intuition tells me it's okay and my heart agrees with it.

Nilingon ko siya. I saw his lips protruded.

"I can't go with you?" Mahinang aniya. I bit the insides of my lips when I heard his voice. Tila batang nagtatampo dahil hindi ko isasama sa pagpasyal.

"Next time? It's girls hang out. You can't just-"

"You need bodyguard." Pursigi niya.

"It's fine, I have Jaxon." Ani ko na ikinalingon niya.

"What?" Tanong ko. Tumaas ang kilay niya.

"So, now it's Jaxon?" Masungit na aniya.

Umirap ako.

"I'm leaving you in charge of everything, Tuazon. Just give me three days or-" agad siyang umalma.

"Three days? What the actual fuck?"

"Excuse me, you left me for 11 years!" Sumbat ko sa kanya at tinulak siya papalayo.

Sinamaan niya ako ng tingin bago ngumuso at ngumiti.

"Okay po." Aniya ng nakangiti ng malawak.

Ngumiwi ako sa kanya.

"Just call me when something went wrong. Maliligo muna ako at aalis na." Ani ko.

Bumuntong hininga siya pero hindi na umalma.

Naligo ako at nagbihis. Nag ayos ako ng sarili at sinigurong walang magiging aberya kapag umalis ako.

I saw Kai pouting on the counter table. Mag isa siyang naglalaro ng chess. Hawak niya ang king chess piece at winawagayway sa harap niya dahilan ng pagkakatumba ng iba pang chess pieces.

I bit my knuckles to restrain myself from laughing hard.

Tumikhim ako at lumapit sa kanya dahil nasa tabi niya ang cellphone ko.

Hindi niya ako tiningnan man lang.

Napangiti ako sa behavior niya.

"I'll be back in two days, Kai. Don't miss me so much." Natatawang ani ko pero tinaasan lang ako nito ng kilay at inayos ang nagkalat na chess pieces.
