Sinalubong ako ni Kai ng matamis na ngiti.

What the actual fuck did just happened to this man?  From the moment he came back, he's been acting sweet and clingy like what he's doing back then and now? He's acting more sweet and... It's just fucking weird.

"What's for dinner?" I asked and threw my sling bag in the couch.

"I cooked adobo." I raised an eyebrow at him because of what he said.

Hmm.

Just make sure it's tasty and delicious.

Tumango ako at nagpaalam munang aakyat.

"Listen, you three." We're having a private online meeting. Aragorn is also present. It's just Silver who's out to monitor the trainees.

"I went to Taguig this morning to meet my friends. And there's this group of armed men who started a ruckus in a cafe we're in. One of them told everyone that they were just following orders." They were listening carefully.

Jaero was behind Kleo and Aragorn. He's busy with his laptop but I can assure you that he's listening.

"Were you able to identify them, Queen?" Asked by Aragorn.

"No, they're not familiar. But our familia is familiar to them." Nagkatinginan ang dalawa samantalang nag angat ng tingin si Jaero.

"They are doing stuffs under our organizations'  name" Ani ko.

"Ginagamit nila ang pangalan ng La Nostra, Queen, para manggulo?" Tanong ni Jaxon. He's not on the screen pero siguro ay nasa gilid lang ito at may ginagawa.

Tumango ako.

"Sorry, hindi ako masyadong lumalabas kaya hindi ko alam." Ani Jaxon.

"I'm not blaming anyone among all of you." Ani ko at umismid.

"I'm sure it's because they want to ruin our names to the citizens. If ever this report reaches the ears of the seniors, we'll be labelled as insurgents or maybe we will get executed." Ani Aragorn.

Tumango ako bilang pagsang ayon.

"Then, we should find out who they are." Ani Kleo.

Tumango ako ulit.

"Bilisan niyo na dyan para mapakinabangan na ang mga newbies. We need more forces. I can sense a war coming." Malamig na ani ko.

"By the way, Queen. Naayos na ba yung CCTV papasok sa kwarto mo? Bigla kasing nag black out kanina. Anong nangyari dun?" Ani Jaero.

I knotted my forehead.

"Blacked out?" Takang ani ko. Nakatingin lang ako sa mga mata ni Jaero na nakatingin lang din sa screen.

I was out for 7 hours. How would I know about it?

Nang makarinig ako ng katok ay nagpaalam na ako sa mga kausap.

"My Queen, aren't you hungry yet?" Narinig kong aniya.

Kumunot ang noo ko. Bakit siya kumakatok sa kwarto ko?

Pinikit ko ng mariin ang mga mata ko.

"I'll be there in 10 minutes." Sagot ko.

Ginala ko ang paningin ko sa kwarto ko nang marinig na umalis na siya.

Lumapit ako sa pinto at tiningnan ang lock.

I grazed the door with the tips of my fingers.
