THE NIGHT

My mom called me to tell me she will be home later than she thought she would be and asked me if I was doing well now. I said yes only because it was friday, I had no school ditch the following day.
"My mum says she won't be here anytime soon, mind to ask you mama to sleep over?" I asked Liz, "no, not at all" she said while sliding her phone out of her pocket and called her mum. Judging from her smile, I reckoned her mum said didn't mind.

"She agreed." she said with a smile. "Great you can use my tooth brush." I teased. "I am not crazy!" she said and we both laughed.
"I'm sure we have extra toiletries, I'll find you a toothbrush and a bathing cloth ok?" "ok."

I went to look for the extra toiletries in my mum's room. Her bedroom was the most spacious and neatest in the house. She had a king size bed with a royal blue bedding, her curtains matched her bedding, they had floral patterns which you could only notice when you were close enough.

On the right side of her bedroom stood a dark brown, almost black, computer stand which was occupied by two side speakers unless if she placed her laptop on it and next to it was a TV stand that was occupied by her TV and her novels. On the left side of her bedroom was a black leather couch, it had a drawer below it but you'd never recognize it until someone opens it.

The drawer had everything one would need, I knew I would find the extra toiletries in it. I got what Liz needed and gave them to her, they were both still sealed. "Thank you." Liz said. "sure." I said while followng her to the bathroom.

Liz was brushing her teeth when I decided to text Jordan.

Hi Dudu :) guess what!!!
Liz is sleeping over tonight :D

Liz was still busy when I was done with my phone, so I decided to apply toothpaste on my toothbrush while I was waiting for her to finish brushing her teeth.

I slid my hand gently on her waist to reach for the stuff I needed on the basin cabinet. She jumped away fiercely and glared at me. I managed to remain calm, I ignored her and continued with my business.

"We gonna bath together right? if you don't mind." I said without even glancing in her direction. "I'd love to bath alone thank you" she said in an irritated tone, "I'm feeling tired so I want to relax in the bath." "me too." I said and faked a laugh. I let her bath first, she was in it for more than an hour.

Liz and I both felt we have had enough of TV, so we decided we should go to bed. My phoned beeped...

Hi Didi, I am so sorry, I've been busy. I was wondering if you were ok. Well I was planning to call you around this time but since you are with the babe :) We'll talk tomorrow...Love you.

"Who are you chatting with this late?" Liz asked. "Oh, no I'm not chatting, it's just a good night text from Jordan." "You guys are very close lately. You don't even hang out with me much anymore" She proclaimed. I didn't know what to say, we had this akward silence until I shattered it.

I pulled away all the blankets from Liz and cracked up. She hit me with her pillow and we played for a while till we were both worn out.

We cuddled! My right leg was between both her's, she held tight on me and I laid my head on her breast. Not even liquid could get past our heart's bond at the moment. I couldn't keep it in any longer so I blurted.

"I love you Liz, I've been longing to let you know and..." "What?" she cut me off, "I am not lesbian! I know you are but that doesn't mean we all are, How dare you insult me like that?" Liz was furious and I just lied there rubbing my eyes. I didn't want to show her that tears were about to roll down on my cheeks.

"My Lord..." I heard my mum's voice. I could pass out on the spot. Liz froze.
