CHAPTER 1

Seungcheol, was driving his car when he thought of calling his girlfriend.

He called but there was no answer from the other line. He tried again but still no answer. He didn't call her again and stopped when he saw a book store.

He went inside and was just looking at some books. His eyes were wandering around for one particular book, and he stopped once he found it.

"The Darkness, written by Choi Seungcheol" He read out. He was feeling proud when he saw his own book in a book store, the first book he ever wrote..

There was a staff member that came to him with his book in his hand. "Sir, do you need any help? " asked the staff

"Uh.. Yeah can you please pack this book" Seungcheol replied

"Sure, sir.. Um sir can I please get your autograph..?" The staff asked him politely

"Yeah, sure" Seungcheol replied with a smile and took the pen from his pocket and signed on the book.

"Thank you sir" "No problem". After the staff went to pack his book, he got a call from his girlfriend, Raena.

" Heyy Cheol" She spoke

"Hi Raena, why didn't you answer my calls earlier?" He asked her after greeting

"Yea.. Actually I was really busy at that time and there are many cases to handle at the moment, so i wasn't able to answer.. I'm really sorryy... "

"That's okay. Did you have your lunch??" He asked her

"Not yet. You??"

"Not yet.. And i was wondering if we could--" "Hey cheol gimme a minute, I'll call you back" She cut his words and ended the call before he could say anything

"This girl... " He shook his head and took his book and went to his home.

It was 21:15pm when he thought of calling Raena. This time she picked it at first ring
"Heyy Raena.. What are you doin??"

"Hey cheol.. Nothing just going through some case files. What 'bout you??"

"Nothing.. Just got reminded of you.. "
He says with a sweet tone

"Aww that's so sweet.. Btw did you have your dinner?" She asked him

"Yeah.. You?"

"Yeah." She replied absent mindedly looking at the files

"Hey Raena.. I was thinking...maybe...we could go on a date tomorrow.. What do you say??" Seungcheol askes her reluctantly

"Yea.. Sure why not.. I think even I should take a break from my work" She replied

"Sure then. Get ready by 12:00pm"
He said

"Okayy.. Byee.. I love you"she said

" Bye, love you too" He said and hung the phone with a smile
