CHAPTER 2

Raena got up from her sleep and checked her phone for messages and scrolled through insta for a few mins and went straight to the bathroom and did her morning routine.

She got ready, had some breakfast, and washed the dishes and was watching TV for few hours and that's when she remembered that she needs to go on a date. She looked at her phone to check the time which showed 11:17am.

"Oh fuck! I totally forgot about the date!!" She ran to her room and searched for the right outfit. "Ugh!! I have nothing to wear.." She exclaimed though her closet was filled with clothes.. She finally found an outfit to her liking and got ready. She did some simple makeup and let her hair loose.

She checked the time and it was 11:55, when she heard the door bell ring. She went to the door and saw Seungcheol standing there with a boquet of red roses.

She gasped when she saw the boquet, and took it from him and hugged him.

He extended his hand and said "shall we ma'lady?"

Raena smiled and took his hand and started walking with that same smile.

Seungcheol opened the door to the restaurant for Raena to enter

Aww.. You're such a gentleman cheol"
She said while smiling

"Anything for my lady" He shrugged and sat in an empty table.

They sat and ordered the food and talked a lot about their life, thier work and etc.

Their food arrived and they started eating happily while chit-chatting when Raena's phone suddenly rang. She saw the caller id and immediately picked up the phone.
" Hello.. Yes sir this is Raena. Uh.. Sure I'll look into it.. Yea.. Thank you" She spoke with the person on the other line and ended the call.

Seungcheol was about to speak when her phone rang again annoying him. He thought to spend this whole day with her but realised that it wouldn't be possible if her phone keeps ringing like that.

Raena took her phone and answered it but she excused herself and went out to speak as there was no proper signal. Seungcheol's sad eyes followed her every movement until she walked out, and he sighed.

Raena came back after the call and came and informed him that she needs to leave. Seungcheol was really sad and disappointed that she had to go. Though Raena didn't want to leave she didn't have any other choice but to go.

Seungcheol paid the bill and insisted on dropping her but she refused and he went home.

At night Raena was feeling really guilty for leaving in the afternoon. She immediately dialed Seungcheol's number.

He answerd the call and greeted her
"Hey seungcheol" She said, her voice little low.

"Hey.. Is everything okay? Your voice sounds low.. Are you okay?" He asked sensing her dull mood.

She smiled hearing those questions and said "Cheol... I'm really sorry for leaving you earlier... I'm really sorry" She said, her voice sounding as if she was close to crying

"hey.. That's okay.. We can go on a date some other day too.. You know I've been planning this since many days but you were extremely busy recently...i was thinking we could go on a road trip?? Without our phones.. "He said to bring up her mood

" Road trip??... But without phones.... " She trailed off.

"We can enjoy each other's company without our phones.. There will be no disturbance. Just you..and.. Me, and there's a surprise for you."He said with a voice that could make you agree to him immediately

"Okay then. When will we go though?" She asked

"If it's okay for you... How bout tomorrow??" He suggested

"Um.. Okayy" She said with enthusiasm.

He smiled at her enthusiasm and said"Okay then, we will leave tomorrow night. Take a rest now. Bye"

"Bye good night"

"Night"he said and ended the call.
