CHAPTER 10

"Call the cops!! I'll them what i've stollen once they arrive!!" Jeonghan exclaims

"Seungcheol was right indeed. You are lying!!" Raena says while squinting her eyes. "I dont have any reason to lie to you like him! I've stolen something and its right here! I'm just saying i'll reveal once the cops arrive" He admits before shrugging and looks at seungcheol.

"I've had enough of your shit! I'll make you say it!" Seungcheol says, while gritting his teeth and folding his sleeves. Jeonghan immediately gets up from his seat and stands behind Raena who aggressively places her palm on seungcheol's chest to stop him

"He is right though..if you're really innocent, why dont you want the cops to come here??" She asks him while frowning. Seungcheol stayed silent before speaking again

"I dont want the cops to enter this place again..." he says with low voice while looking into her eyes

"A-again?" She stuttered

"My mother died in this house.." his voice was trembling while he continued to maintain the eye contact

"Ask him how she died.." Jeonghan whispers in Raena's ears, but loud enough of Seungcheol to hear making him grit his teeth seeing him so close to her

"I'll tell you. His mother was killed. And the killer was never caught." Jeonghan reveals before Raena could ask Seungcheol

"How do you know that?" Raena frowns "everybody knows his family's history" he says while smirking in a mocking way

"This fucker-" seungcheol, with rage stormed towards jeonghan, and held his neck and started to drag him towards the living area. Raena was trying to stop seungcheol but she couldn't.

"I'll fucking make you tell the truth!!" Seungcheol gritted his teeth and dragged him "seungcheol stop it!! Leave him!!" Raena tried to pull them apart but seungcheol was too strong to even budge "Raena—" Jeonghan tries to speak to her but seungcheol doesn't let him "how dare you fucking speak ill about my family!!" "Now tell me what did you steal, you scoundrel"seungcheol aggressively throws him on the couch

He turned to Raena and gripped her hands tightly and yelled at her. "I told you!! He is the killer!! Why don't you just believe me?!!" "Seungcheol stop it!!!" Raena grunts struggling to get out of his grip "i've been telling you for so long!!" "Stop it!! You're hurting me!!" She yells due to pain caused by his grip" "what more do i—"

"I'll tell you!!!" Jeonghan shouted while panting. Everything went silent for a second before Raena removes her hands from seungcheol's strong grip.

Jeonghan looks at the direction of the bookshelves before looking at Raena. She immediately understood and stood in front of the book shelves to find something. In one of the book shelves she saw a box and took it out. Jeonghan slightly nodded when he saw the box.

Raena opened the box and her movements stilled seeing what was there in the box. She glanced at jeonghan to make sure if this was the thing he stole

"Now do you know what the surprise is..?" Jeonghan looks at her with a small smirk playing on his lips. Raena didnt notice seungcheol was already behind her when he spoke, "what's this..?where did you find this??" Seungcheol asks confused, looking at the box in Raena's hands. He walks towards jeonghan, "where did you get this from?" He asks with a confused expression

"I stole it from here, so it must be yours, right?" Jeonghan looks away and says "where the heck did you steal this from?" Seungcheol shouts at him and throws a punch across his face

"Raena..!! Do you now know whats the surprise?! Just call the cops!! Don't believe him!!" Jeonghan grunts as seungcheol throws another punch

Amidst this chaos, Raena silently walked away from them, towards the dining table with a heavy breath she kept the box on the table and kept both of her hands on the table and leans on it

"I-i don't know what to do..i don't even know whom to trust now.." she thought to herself and while staring at the box. She looked across the table and saw the ring box that seungcheol brought for her as surprise.

She opened it and placed it beside the bigger box, which was arranged with 6 different rings of different designs with a space for another one. She was scared now, am i next...? She thought.

She was already frustrated by the chaos they were making and this was her last straw

"STOP IT!! I NEED TO FUCKING KNOW WHAT HAPPENED THERE DOWNSTAIRS!!!" She screamed on top of her lungs.

Both Seungcheol and Jeonghan stopped what they were doing and looked at her with wide eyes.
