I sit in the floor as she cries sitting over my lap. I feel like my world started to revolve again.
It's over.
Pramod Raichand is dead.
But to make sure I signal my men to check downstairs. They leave giving us space. The men who kidnapped my wife are dragged away to our basement. I am going to handle them personally.
"Shivanya." I rub her spine in a soothing manner unable to bear her heart wrenching sobs.
"I was so scared. I thought... I thought I lost you." She chokes out. Her voice muffled by my chest.
"Shh shh it's okay." I console her because she must not strain herself.
"What would I have done? I can't even imagine a world without you." She sobs and my heart beats in a wild rhythm as she tells me exactly how I feel for her.

"I was so angry at you." I confess.
She soon comes out of my hold to stare at my face. Her face is a work of bruises and blood is trickling out of a cut in her lips.
If I could, I would kill that fucker again.
"I know what I said earlier about Rohit-" but I cut her off.
"It's not that Shivanya." I shake my head. "It was the fact that you were ready to leave me alone and spewing some bullshit about having a family..." I set my teeth on edge.
She looks down at her hands.
