Luyolo ran outside after her.

Luyolo:babe just talk to the man and ask him to handle the negotiations then that's it. We'll be done. Get married and forget and them if that's what you want.
Xiluva:i don't want to talk to him.
Mr Monareng:what is it?
Luyolo:that woman is responsible for her being in jail for seven years for nothing she didn't do. That's why she's like this.
Mr Monareng:what do you need so i can talk to that man for you?
Luyolo:my family wants to pay lobola and they want him to handle the negotiations. If you could please talk to him for us?
Mr Monareng:i will talk to him.
Luyolo:thank you. You will call and let us know how everything goes.

Mrs Monareng came to the car.

Mrs Monareng:Xiluva I'm very sorry.
Xiluva:we are leaving.

She got inside the car and cried. Luyolo went to his side and drove off.

Xiluva:ican't believe the man is a pastor.
Keletso:moruti? He's not a pastor. He wouldn't have denied you.
Xiluva:but my mother could have kept me.
Keletso:I'm still kgang ya papago. I understand why your mother would give you away but your father? Moruti!? Aowa he's doing a wrong profession.
Xiluva:then Desmond and Evidence arrived. Turns out he's my brother.
Keletso:that guy who wanted you?

Keletso:there's no running away from that witch. Kore she's everywhere you go. Now you're her sister in law.
Xiluva:i want nothing to do with that family.
Keletso:you need the pastor to get married.
Xiluva:i don't even know why they are insisting on him handling this. I have a family. People who raised me up.
Keletso:so what will you do?
Xiluva:i don't know. Now Luyolo is always on my case. He doesn't understand how i feel.
Keletso:but it's just for a day. Can't you just tolerate being there for those few hours? This is for your happiness. Do this for yourself.

She thought about it and it made sense. It's not as if she is going to spend the whole week with that man.

I drove through the gate and parked then went inside the house. I took off my heels and changed into sleepers. I went to look for my fiancé and he was in the study.

Me:babe how was your day?
Luyolo:good. I was just going through some paperwork.
Me:I've decided to let that man handle the negotiations and we can get married.
Luyolo:ngempela? That's good news.

He got off his chair and attacked me with a hug.

Me:someone is happy.
Luyolo:I am. We are finally going to be married. Next week it's happening.
Me:i can't wait to be Mrs Khoza.

I cut the hug and kissed him.

Luyolo:you're making me so happy. I don't know your clan name I'd call you with them right now.
Me:my name is fine thank you.
Luyolo:tonight we are going to dinner. It's just going to be my siblings and their wives and husbands.
Me:you have so many siblings. I was hoping i wouldn't have to be in the same place with them soon.
Luyolo:why? Me and my siblings are very close. So you must get used to them.

I sit down avoiding what he just said. I really don't want to go and have all eyes on me. I'm a jail bird and not to mention my weight!

Me:i think i should stay indoors for a month. I'm not comfortable being around people.
Luyolo:babe your weight is not a problem. I love you like this. You are going to be fine. My siblings will not make fun of you. And you bought new clothes that fit you. Anyone who gives you problems I'll be there to deal with them.
Me:I'm a jail bird. People are going to talk about me.
Luyolo:they always have something to say. Even after doing something good they are going to talk. So to hell with them.
