Asami stepped out the shower drying her hair with a cotton towel.

I feel like he's avoiding me...

Her brows slightly furrowed before she let out a hefty sigh. Iroh hadn't said much to her since this morning with the Korra incident, only a text saying he had more practice and wouldn't be able to drive her home. Luckily Opal didn't go home early so she drove her instead.

Asami put on one of Iroh's oversized hoodies and pro nike shorts before plopping onto her caramel duvet. She looked up onto the ceiling, her eyes trailed every slight detail examining but she wasn't focused, no she was thinking about Iroh.

What did I do?

Asami let out another sigh before turning onto her belly and facing her squish-mellows. "Dewce and Brewce, what do you guys think I did?" she said questioning the inanimate 'teddies' she'd owned since she was six. Asami  groaned and stuffed her pillow into her face, "Ugh- now he's making me go crazy.." she huffed and dropped her hands to her sides.

"fucking talking to-" she turned her head and used her Jade eyes to glare at them, "-Teddy bears" she grumbled.

Her phone chirped as the screen brightened instantly catching Asami's attention.

Iroh?

Asami reached for it before accidentally knocking it over and onto the floor. Luckily it was carpeted. She rolled off the bed in a lazy manner and onto the floor next to the phone before turning it on and checking the notification.

It was unknown number with the first words reading, 'I see you...' it discontinued before she'd have to open it to see the rest. Asami instantly chucked the phone and got up to check her windows.

What the hell?!

She opened the curtain and looked outside the manor, there was nothing and no one there. It wasn't pitch black due to the lights by the pool and gazebo but, it was still semi dark. Definitely not dark enough for someone to be hiding there.

Asami narrowed her eyes in suspicion before closing securely closing the curtains and walking back to the phone and picking it up. Finally opening the message to read the rest.

[I see your message btw]
[saw**]

Who is this?

Asami puffed and pressed the call button.  It rang for a solid eight seconds before the number picked up.

"<Uh.. why are you calling me?> ", The person spoke in a semi out of breath tone. Their voice belonged to-

Oh it's Korra

"You never said who you were, so..." Asami said exhaling a breath she didn't know she was holding in all this time. "<Oh I thought you were smart enough to know>" she snorted. Asami narrowed her eyes, "How was I supposed to know?".

"<You gave me your number? duh>".
Asami scoffed, "Still, you're supposed to say: Hi, it's Korra" she suggested. Korra hummed, "<Hi it's Korra>". "You know, I'm trying to be nice to you but you're making it a very difficult job" Asami said sitting back down on her bed.

"<I don't really think throwing a bottle at my face that, mind you, had been hit with a fucking Ice skate already, is being nice>"

"It was an accident!" Asami exclaimed before lowering her tone, "-It was an accident". Korra huffed, "<You looked blood-lusted when you threw it at me, I don't think, 'it was an accident'>" she said mimicking her. "<How does one get so worked up over a dude?>".

"I wa-"

"<That was a rhetorical question. You're really slow, aren't you?>"

"I think you're forgetting that I'm older than you".

"<Is that supposed to scare me?>"

"The bottle did".

Korra huffed a laugh of disbelief, "<You...are a smart-ass>". Asami smirked and began to fidget with her sheet, "I thought I was slow?". "<A slow smar- *Ruff!*>" Korra spoke before a bark interrupted. Asami sat up with her brows furrowed in confusion, "wait, you have a dog?".

"<No you're delusional. Yeah I do.>" Korra quipped standing up from wherever she was. "That's a surprise.." Asami retorted. "<what's that supposed to mean?>" the hockey player scoffed.

Asami hummed and laid back down "Mmm, nothing. What type?". "<Dunno>" Korra answered nonchalantly. "What do you mean you don't know?" Asami narrowed her eyes.

Korra huffed a chuckle, "<Why are you interrogating me? I'm not your boyfriend>". Asami scoffed, "Okay, why are you implying I would interrogate my boyfriend?".
"<Because you seem so insecure about him->" A sound of treats pouring into a bowl came before Korra hummed, "<I don't know, fuck it.>"

She wasn't lying, Asami did feel...uncertain sometimes about Iroh. It was an anxious feeling  that she really couldn't help, but doesn't everyone feel that? The feeling of uncertainty slowly dragging your peace away from you every waking day you live?
Definitely...

"<-Hey? Did you fall asleep?>" Korra spoke interrupting Asami's thoughts. "Uh, wh...no" Asami answered. "<Well go to sleep then, it's like fucking- eleven at night>"

Asami huffed, "It's a Friday night and why do you care?". "<I don't. You're distracting me>"
"From what?"

"<My crunches, idiot>"

Oh...that makes sense. She plays hockey.

Sooo she works out..

And crunches equal abs...a
nd that means she has muscles..
Mhm, yup. cool, cool, cool, cool.

Asami nodded excessively as she continued her fidgeting, "Yeah um, sorry. Goodnight". Korra hummed, "<Bye>". Asami cut the call and stuffed her face in her pillow.

"Alright, Your order is on the way sir" The Wong's Burgers's cashier confirmed.

Bolin nodded, "Thank you" he flashed a teeth filled smile before putting his credit card back into his fanny pack and turning around. He accidentally knocked into someone dropping their phone and food. "Oh my gosh- I'm so sorry!" Bolin exclaimed hurriedly reaching to pick it up.

The person reached for the food caring more about it then the phone. "No...my fries" they mumbled as they picked some up from the floor and into their knocked over to-go bag.

"I'm so sorry- please let me help-" Bolin spoke frantically picking up the fries. The stranger and him accidentally reached for the same one, the curliest one, causing their hands to touch.

Bolin looked up to see the most glimmering green eyes belonging to the prettiest human he'd ever seen. The stranger had short brown hair and coffee tanned skin along with the most butterfly inducing eyelashes batting at him.

"..You..." he continued as his heart began to beat faster than anything in that moment, giving a lot of blood that seemed to go straight to his face turning him flushed. The stranger giggled, my gosh did it not help. Even her voice sounded like a harp playing in a botanical fairytale, Bolin was more than smitten.

"It's okay" The person sighed and stood up, "I should stop standing so close in lines" she said scratching her cheek. Bolin stood up as well and handed her the bag.

"No, no. It's my fault, I really should have looked where I was going" he touched the back of his neck as his eyes darted to the side. "Can.. um can I pay for that and get you another one?" he requested.

The girl smiled, "Yeah that would be nice, thank you" she reached a hand out, "I'm Opal bye the way".

Bolin took her hand gently and shook it, "I'm Bolin, Opal's a very pretty name" He smiled before his eyes widened, "-You're also very pretty!" his eyes went frantic, "In- In a non, creepy way!" his shoulders dropped slightly, "I'm not a creep...I swear" he said in an almost mumble.

Opal pointed to his jacket, "You're wearing a Republic High rugby jacket, I know you're not a creep, it's okay. And thank-you" she huffed a chuckle. Bolin looked at the part she was pointing at, there was a sewn in logo with the school crest.
"Can you get my food?"

"Of course" he said before walking back up to the counter.

"Oh, did you need something else?" The cashier asked looking up at Bolin. "Yes, sorry" he apologized.
