Lawrence Whitacre's Point of View
Monday evening, Signore returned home to a spotless house, dinner, and a naked boy knelt in waiting at the door. He'd only asked for the latter deliberately but meals were my responsibility anyway, as was the cleaning. It was work but I had all day. I'd never complain. I rather enjoyed it.
My obedience earned me a kiss and a new order to wait some more after we ate but I could relax. That was fine. I'd only been waiting five minutes or so. He came home late today but had called to let me know and Jessie drove me from therapy. Signore was getting the materials for our costumes. I was so excited for tomorrow and in bliss of the night before that I hadn't even considered the possibility of doing anything tonight but I was waiting patiently because that box that had been leaned against the exterior wall of the office was finally going upstairs. It sounded interesting. Parts clanged against each other inside as he traversed the stairs. Not particularly sharp but light, almost airy thuds against the cardboard.
It took every ounce of self control I had not to peek during the day and it took even more not to ask Victor when he called me on a three way FaceTime so he could introduce me to Lee. He was at his dorm but he'd come back in town for the day to go to the club tomorrow night. They were going as football players and their daddy was going to be a referee. I don't think I realized how common daddy kinks were but for them it was a little different. Little. I'm funny. They're age regressors. Vic is littler than Lee is and both of them are adorable in different ways.
Looking at them, I wouldn't think they were friends. Vic gave princess vibes and Lee was more of a trucks and dirt type. Lee gave me a dorm tour when I asked about his posters and I quickly realized he didn't have a roommate. Everything was power rangers and hot wheels and football. So much football. The costumes made sense when I learned he played on his school's team.
Vic declared it his turn next and I can only describe it as unicorn vomit. Pastels and sparkles were everywhere but it was very cute overall. I was a little jealous he had a TV in his room but it would throw off the lustra and get in the way to have one. I could watch TV downstairs anyway. That's what I'd been doing before they called anyway. Then I saw a familiar logo in the background of Lee's room on a pendant. An N and I in white, outlined in red. "Wait, do you go to Northride?"
Lee hummed a yes. "Sir had me transfer when I decided to go back to school since I didn't want to go back to UMD."
What were the odds? "I'm going back in December. Virtually, but I think I'll be up there occasionally—"
"Ragazzo?" Signore. He was calling from upstairs. Whatever was in box, he'd put together faster than I thought he would.
He was staring at me now, leaned against the handrail. His work clothes were long gone, traded instead for chinos and a button up. Both black and well fitted. I couldn't see his shoes but I had no doubt they matched. He looked simultaneously like he wanted to eat me and ripe for the picking himself. "I have to go."
I ended the call and put my phone on do not disturb before I stood at attention. He made a little smile at me. It's not the same one he does at work or around my family and Jessie who are all also work. That smile is humble. Meek even. I hate that smile on his face because it's not really his. The one he's been showing me when we're alone in the past month, once I finally agreed to treatment and he agreed to try me out, is excited. Signore doesn't do much with his face most times but right now he is a kid in a candy store and I am his favorite sweet.
The stoic look returned as quickly as it had been replaced but the eyes stayed lit aflame. He beckoned me closer and so, I followed him upstairs.
I'm not exactly sure what I'm seeing when we arrive but I know it's latex that's on the bed. I know that smell anywhere. The handheld vacuum I use for the furniture is on the ground. There's pipes and tubes in the latex and I am thoroughly confused. "What's all of this for, Sir?"
