Ch.5 Cyno - The bell rang indicating that class had finally ended. I zipped up my bag and stood watching at tighnari finished putting his things away. His tail wagged as he picked up his bag, placing it on his lap and looking up at me. "So.. what time do we meet?.." His tail curled, wrapping around his waist as he tilted his head in question. "They actually said we could all go for smoothies first and go from there if that's okay with you?" I fidgeted with my fingers waiting in anticipation for my new friend's answer. "Yeah, that's cool with me." I reached my hand out for his. He grabbed it standing up and slinging his bag over his shoulder. I smiled at him and we made small talk as I led him to the smoothie bar down the street.

We made it there quickly, and I couldn't tell if that was a good thing or bad thing. Losing track of time isn't something I'm prone to do, or enjoy doing, but just this once it felt nice. I walked towards the door, only now realizing I was still holding tighnari's hand and let go of it to open the door.
We both made it inside before ordering our drinks and sitting down to wait for the others. I took a sip of my drink as my eyes wandered to tighnari. He was staring down at his drink, one hand holding the cup while the other swirled around the straw. "You feeling okay tighnari?" The boy looked up, his eyes meeting mine. "Yeah I'm fine, don't worry, I just hope I get along with your other friends.." I smiled at him grabbing his hand that played with his straw and let my thumb rub over his soft velvety hands. "If that's what you're thinking about then there's no reason to be worried. I really like you so they're bound to like you too, plus I have the feeling a certain blonde might be all over you." The fox boy giggled and it made my face heat up. (fuck whys he so cute, being friends with him might be the death of me.) "Thanks Cyno, I feel a bit better now." Tighnari exclaimed and slightly squeezed my hand.
We heard the juice bars doors open and close. I turned my head to see a shocked Kaveh and Alhaitham standing beside him looking as cocky as usual. "WHO'S THIS CUTIE CYNO, IS THIS YOUR BOYFRIEND, I SAW YOU HOLDING HIM EARLIER AT SCHOOL TOO AND NOW YOU'RE HOLDING HANDSSSS, IT'S DEFINITELY CONFIRMED YOU TWO ARE SO CUTE TOGETHER."

I looked over to tighnari to see his face beet red, he quickly let go of my hand and picked up his drink taking a sip while staring out the window. "Kaveh... this is tighnari. And no, he's not my boyfriend. Now can we all get going."

"Yeah alright Cyno, whatever you sayyy."

"Kaveh drop it. We'll meet you two outside, just give us a second yeah?"

"Awwww butttt." Kaveh continued, thankfully alhaitham was there. He kissed his boyfriend on the cheek and grabbed his hand, dragging him outside while Kaveh pouted.

I looked over to Tighnari who was already looking at me, his face still tinted a light pink. "I'm really sorry about Kaveh, he may be bothering us all night like this, so I understand if you don't wanna come anymore..." I mentally cursed at myself inside for even thinking this would work.
"No.. I wanna go, if you're still okay with me coming, especially since I don't really know how to play tcg yet."

"I want you to come" I said a little too quickly for my own good. I reached my hand out and he took it standing up, but as soon as he was up he let go. To be quite frankly honest I didn't really blame him, and I didn't question it since to be fair we just met and Kaveh might have scared him a bit.. I'll talk to him about it tonight.
