So a couple weeks have passed. Nothing too out of the ordinary has happened. Lumins tooth is starting to grow in.
Speaking of Lumin, and Amaya too, today we're going hiking at the knee! Dad took work off today to take us.
Currently, we're at my house getting ready to go. Lumin is here with us getting all geared up too because it's cold.
Amaya lives at a small town on the knee so she's kinda used to a slight chill, but we're gonna be meeting up with her once we set out.
"Keep your scarf nice and snug..!" Mom tightens it around my neck.
"Ow-! Mom-" I fix my neck a little.
"Hey hey! I just fixed it..! I said you need to be snug..!" She adjusts the scarf again.
"Mom-"
"And your coat- oh you know what, let's get you another coat on, I have extras." She runs to the little hallway closet.
"Mom I'm already hot in this!" I say.
"Well you won't be when you're actually in the snow." She says running back to me with a puffy snow coat.
She slides it on over the other puffy snow coat I'm wearing and refunded the scarf around my neck. She also tightens the little snow hat I'm wearing.
"AGH!" I exclaim.
"There you go..! Nice and cozy!" She smiles and steps back from me.

"HAHAA YOU LOOK LIKE A SNOWWITCH!" Lumin laughs.
"Mom I can't move my arms." I say.
"It's not like you need to..! You'll just be walking!" She says.
"Mom..!!"
"Honey, he doesn't need an extra coat." Dad says.
"Yes he does! He needs to be warm, and you know how sensitive his face is to the cold! It gets all red and then he gets sick..!" Mom says.
"Oh come on, he won't get sick, he's bundled more than enough, let's just take off the extra coat on him." Dad kneels down and unzips the puffy snow jacket off me.
"Well.. bring it just in case..! Okay?" She smiles sheepishly.
"Hun, he'll be fine." Dad smiles reassuringly.
Mom looks over at me and Lumin in our snow wear. Now I just have the singular jacket on me, still with the coat and beanie.
Lumin just has a coat and scarf.
"Ah... fine... okay, if he gets sick though..!" Mom glares at Dad.
"He will be fine." Dad smiles and puts his hands on mom's shoulders.
"And you have the surprise?" Mom smiles and mutters kinda loudly in Dads ear.
