"Okay, we're taking him to a giant creepy building. Makes perfect sense." I nod still dragging him by the arm.
"It's my home." Amber says and opens the door.
I squint my eyes at the sign at the front.
"DAMN!!! YOUR PARENTS ARE DEAD?!" I exclaim pointing at the sign that says 'orphanage'
"I actually have no idea if they're dead or not, I was left here, I stay here with some other girls and my caretaker Ms. Grace." She says and starts walking inside.
I stand there hesitantly.
"You both can come in, Ms. Grace is asleep, just as long as you don't disturb the other girls in their rooms or her you'll be fine." Amber says.
"Okay nice." I drag River inside.
"How are you doing nerd?" I look at River.
"Is this Amayas house?" He grins and looks around.
"No. No River it's not." I roll my eyes.
"Aww..." He frowns.
"My lab is in the attic." Amber goes up the stairs.
"Fancy shmancy in here huh?" I look around.

I eye the kitchen.

Fancy kitchen.
Maybe they have fancy food.
"Do you happen to have any food I can eat? I haven't had dinner." I grin.
"Actually now that you mention it I haven't ate either cause I was too focused on my abomopotion. I can see if I can treat you guys to something once River is back to normal." Amber pulls down a little ladder to the attic.
Once the ladder is fully pulled down Amber makes her way up. I cross my arms and wait for her to get to the top.
"River I need you to climb up that ladder." I look at him.
"Is Amaya up there?" He smiles.
"No." I glare at him.

"OKAY YOU KNOW WHAT? YEAH SHES UP THERE! AND SHES WAITING FOR YOU BUDDY! NOW GO UP THAT LADDER!" I smile manically.
"Yaaayyyy!" He grins and starts climbing the ladder.
"Titan." I roll my eyes and climb up after him.
When we get up Amber clicks the lights on and I wince a little at the sudden flash of light. She goes over to the back of the attic and pulls out a chair.
