"Ah! Hello, Jay. How was your first night?" Mr. Wu asked as he walked into the building.

"I quit!" Jay shouted angrily.

"Ha ha... Very funny..." the old man whispered softly.

"I'm serious! You never told me that they moved!"

"Of course they move! They're alive after all."

"Yeah, and they're murderous robots that want to stuff me inside a suit! I'm done."

"Murderous!? Where did you hear that from!? Anyway, you can't quit. It's in your contract..." Wu stated angrily.

"Yeah, watch me!" Jay retorted as he headed for the door.

The old man chuckled lightly. "If you don't show up, I'll find you and drag you back here. You can't get out of this, Jay... I know where you live."

Jay turned and glared at the old man.

"Room 312 at Thunderstorm Apartment Complex," Wu whispered slyly. "And I know my children would just love to stay there for a night..."

Jay stood there, speechless, his eyes widening in shock.

"I'll see you at midnight..." Wu said softly, looking at Jay with an intimidating glare.

Jay looked behind Wu and saw the animatronics staring at him. Cole stood with his arms crossed, a grimace on his face under his black mask. To the bear's sides, Kai smirked like a jerk, and Zane just stared blankly. He turned to the smaller stage and saw Nya's head poking out. She looked at him and waved softly before retreating behind the curtains.

"I-I-I g-guess I'll see you guys too," Jay whispered as he left the building and headed home.

'I hate this job...' Jay thought, frustrated as he got up from his bed. Last night was horrible, and he didn't like the fact that he was forced to go back there.

His heart raced as he pulled up into the pizzeria's parking lot.

'I can't believe I'm actually going through with this... I must be out of my mind... Then again, I don't have much of a choice... The police can't help me because, for all they know, Ninjago's is a totally innocent family pizzeria,' Jay thought, his eyes showing a bit of fear.

He walked forward to unlock the door only to find it already open...

"Hello, Jay." An old voice croaked softly. "Glad to see you could show up."

"Didn't really have much of a choice..." Jay groaned as he walked past Mr. Wu.

"What do you got there?"

"Oh, uh... just a flashlight, hehehe..." Jay responded nervously, not wanting to talk to him too much.

"Oh really, let me see..." Without another word, Wu snatched everything in his bag.

"Hmm..." He pulled out the flashlight and tested it before tossing it in the garbage. "Too bright. This will send my animatronics into system restart and possibly damage them, and we can't have that now, can we?"

"But!" Jay started, only for the owner to cut him off.

"Then don't use too much power... Now, you can have the food and drinks, but I'm holding on to the flashlight till the end of the week. Now... Go! Your shift has begun."

Jay faked a smile angrily, said goodbye to Mr. Wu, and then rushed to the security office.

Plopping down inside the leather seat, Jay anxiously pulled up the monitor and quickly flipped through each camera.
