All's well, End's well

(Nickole's POV)

As I lay there bleeding to death I began to cry. Not from the pain but from the guilt of knowing that the one I love will find me dead on the floor surrounded by blood and all of this because I couldn't defend myself. "NICKOLE!" I heard someone scream my name and turned to the door, kyo was above me laughing maniacly "Ma...mark" I could barely breath and my vision was fading. I felt  hands wrap around me and looked up "Nickole please" mark held me close as he cried  I smiled as he gave me a soft kiss "I love you" I whispered before everything went black.

(Timeskip) 

I woke up to a brightly lit room and the smell of antiseptic. I looked around the room and noticed a figure sitting next to me "Mark?" he looked at me and began to cry "Your alive." he hugged me and cried. I soon felt tears roll down my cheeks "I love you" he whispered  I pulled away "Let's go home" he nodded and wiped his eye's.

(time skip..again)

When we got home I noticed that no one was there "They wen't to the police station to turn kyo in" mark said as he closed the front door "Mark come here" he raised an eyebrow and walked over. I grabbed his wrist and pulled up his sleeve, no new cuts thank god "Are you okay?" i asked him "As long as your with me I'm happy" he hugged me and I kissed his cheek "I'm going to take a shower" He kissed my forehead "Ok". After about 5 minutes I got out of the shower and went to get my clothes "N-nickole can I come in?" "Sure" I wrapped the towel around myself and unlocked the door to see a blushing Mark "Are you okay?" he  looked at me and started crying. "Mark..." I hugged him "What's wrong?" he held me close "I almost lost you" he sobbed "Hay.." I pulled away and looked him in the eye "You know I love you right?" he modded and wiped his eyes "Then you know that I would never leave you" he nodded and smiled "I love you" he whispered. I hugged him "I love you too" I looked at my clothes on the bed "I'm going to get dressed i'll be right back" I picked up my clothes and went to the bath room to get changed. I wore a pink baggy long sleeved shirt and a pair of shorts. I laid next to mark and lay my head on his chest. Mark pulled out his ipod and handed me one of the ear buds, safe and sound by taylor swift started playing "Just close your eye's the sun is going down you'll be alright no one can hurt you now come morning light you and i'll be safe and sound" mark sang as he held me closer "Don't you dare look out your window darling everythings on fire the war outside our door keep's raging on" I wish life was as easy as this song. "You and I'll be safe and sound..." the song ended and I realized I was crying when Mark kissed me "You'll be alright no one can hurt you now.." I finished the lyric part he was singing " Come morning light you and I'll be safe and sound...".

(Light's POV)

I can't believe after everything we've been threw L just left me for Yuki of all people. I sat there crying helplessly, no one was there to hold me and tell me i'd be ok or that I'll get over it just me and an empty room. A knock on my door  shook me from my thoughts "Come in" I crocked out. L stepped in and I almost started crying again "What do you want?" he sat beside me "Yuki went home" "Whatever" I mumbled. I'm not usually one to cry over something so simple and meaningless but this was hitting me hard and it hurt "Light I'm sorry I didn't mean those things".....

(Flash back)

Yuki just kissed me. I imediantly pushed him away "What the hell?!" he smirked and pointed behind me. Light just looked at me tear filled eyes "Y-You worthless piece of shit!! I-I hate you!!!" Light yelled ferously. "Light please let me-" "I hope you die!!!" that hurt. I watched as he drove away. He had taken yuki with him. I got a text...from Light 'We're done' is all it said. Even if it was only 2 words it was just enough to tear me down.

(End of flash back) 

I felt tears swell up but refused to let them fall "L I would never hurt you like that" he hugged me "I know" I kissed him. I didn't want to ruin this I didn't-No couldn't ever hurt him "I'll never let you go" I whispered in his ear and wiped away tears that fell from his eyes "I love you light yagami" "I love you to ryzuki".
