The night was cloaked in darkness as Jungkook followed the organizer to an old, abandoned building, his senses on high alert.
The air was thick with a sense of foreboding, damp and musty, the walls glistening with moisture. It was past 10 pm, and not a single soul was in sight. The atmosphere screamed danger, but Jungkook didn’t have time to dwell on the eerie surroundings. His mind was focused, following the organizer through the dilapidated entrance.
They reached the elevator, an ancient contraption that creaked ominously as they stepped inside.
Jungkook’s eyebrows raised slightly in mild surprise when the elevator began to descend, even though they were already on the ground floor. Underground? he thought, but there was no time for questions.
The elevator ride seemed to stretch on forever in the dark, confined space.
Finally, with a jarring halt, the elevator stopped, and the doors groaned open.
The organizer led Jungkook through a long, dark hallway. The coldness seeped through his clothes, and the dim, flickering lights barely illuminated the way. They walked in silence, the only sound being their footsteps echoing off the walls.
After what felt like an eternity, a huge steel door loomed ahead, a solitary dim light casting eerie shadows over it.
The organizer gave a small, almost sinister smile as he pressed a button near the door. There was a moment of silence before the door slid open with a heavy clank. He gestured for Jungkook to enter, and without hesitation, Jungkook stepped inside.
It took a few moments for his eyes to adjust to the lighting, but when they did, Jungkook was taken aback. The inside of the room was a stark contrast to the building’s exterior.
There was a grand room, lavishly decorated with expensive vintage decor.
To the right was a bar, stocked with an array of glistening bottles. To the left, a bustling casino buzzed with activity. People played and drank, lounging on luxurious leather couches, engrossed in conversation.
Some glanced at him briefly before returning to their business.
It was like stepping into a slice of Las Vegas.
