Aura's P.O.V

"Ajumma," I greeted warmly as Sunghoon and I met her, along with Niki, Sunoo, and Jake in the living area. She immediately pulled me into a warm embrace, which I reciprocated eagerly.

"Feeling better, dearie?" she asked me, and I nodded my head. To be honest, after my moment with Sunghoon by the lake, I had been too distracted to really think about everything that I had learned at Ajumma's the previous night. But it was somewhat of a relief to have something else to occupy my thoughts.

"I am," I responded softly, and she nodded her head, seeming glad to hear it.

"Well, firstly," she began before turning around to grab the handle of a large black suitcase with wheels. She rolled it over to me and continued speaking cheerfully, "I noticed you were wearing men's clothing yesterday and figured you needed some clothes of your own. I've been shopping all day." My eyes widened as I realized that the huge suitcase must be filled with clothing for me.

"Oh my, Ajumma, you didn't have to go through all this trouble," I fussed, feeling guilty at the thought of how much she must have spent on me.

"Don't worry about it, dear. I took another youth potion and had a blast shopping today. In fact, I might have even bought some extra pairs of a few things just for myself," she giggled. I couldn't help but smile gratefully as I grasped her hand with mine.

"Thank you so much," I spoke with heartfelt gratitude. "I promise to pay you back."

"Nonsense," she waved me off with a smile, patting my cheek affectionately. "You deserve this and much more, honey," she said with genuine endearment. My heart swelled with warmth, and I felt incredibly grateful for her kind generosity.

I turned to look at Sunghoon, and his warm smile greeted me in return as I gave him a look of excitement.

"Secondly," she began, "I've been worried about all of you since the events the other night. So, I wanted to make sure you had better protection." The men in the room became instantly intrigued as she placed a large box on the coffee table and began to open it.

The five of us peered curiously inside the large box, and I watched as Sunghoon reached in to pull out one of the many silver stake-like weapons.

"What are these?" Sunoo questioned, and Ajumma let out a small sigh as she took a seat on the nearby red couch.

"They're enchanted weapons," she explained, causing me to raise an eyebrow in curiosity. "If you stab these into the heart of a vampire, they'll die instantly." Her words left all of us with shocked expressions, and we couldn't help but stare at her in disbelief.

"How did you come by these?" Sunghoon asked her with a curious expression. I watched as he flipped one of the weapons slightly in the air, testing its weight.

"Well, I made them, of course," Ajumma responded nonchalantly, causing Sunghoon to playfully roll his eyes. "It wasn't an easy task; I should tell you. I was forced to make a few before, and then had to vow not to make anymore," she sighed, causing all of us to look at her with concern.

"Huh? Who did you make them for?" Jake asked the question that was on everyone's mind. Ajumma sighed, as if she knew none of them would like the answer.

"Jee Gunho," she voiced, and I watched as all their eyes widened in shock. Sunoo's mouth dropped open dramatically in surprise.

"Who's that?" I question curiously, realizing I was the only one who found the name unrecognizable.

"Someone you don't want to fuck with," Niki responds shaking his head as he takes a seat on the couch next to Ajumma.

Sunghoon, clearly understanding that Niki's remark did little to answer my question, turned to me. "He's a very, and I mean very, powerful vampire, the oldest in all of Korea," He informs me, and my eyes widen.
