As anger coursed through me, I left without a word, my frustration aimed squarely at him, and stormed toward the garage, muttering curses under my breath

She walked out, leaving me smoldering in anger. She certainly has an attitude, and clearly, she doesn't yet understand her place. I intend to teach her a lesson, and soon, she will regret every moment of this encounter. That thought crossed my mind just as Mr. Min entered.

"Should I tell the servant to clean up?" he asked, looking at me blankly. I shot him a glare and sighed. I knew what needed to be done, leave," I said in frustration, rolling my eyes before returning to my work.

I exited the building and instructed the driver to take me home, feeling exhausted and hopeless about my future-it felt like a disaster. I was lost in thought as we arrived home, only to find my mom sitting outside the gate.

She looked stressed, tapping her legs anxiously. I approached her with concern. "Mom, what happened? Why are you sitting out here?" I asked, bewildered since she disliked being outside.

"Some people came and told me to leave, claiming it's their property," she replied, worry etched on her face. "Who are they, Mom?" I asked, furrowing my brows, bracing myself for her response.

"They said it belongs to the Jeon family," she said, causing my heart to sink. But more than the news, it was her sweaty forehead and heavy breathing that drew my attention.

"Are you okay, Mom?" I asked, alarmed. "Wait, I'll get you some water." I rushed toward the car for water, but then I heard a loud thud. I turned just in time to see her collapse, freezing in shock. I hurried to her side, shaking her to wake her up, but she didn't respond. "Mr. Wang, help me! We need to get her to the hospital!" Tears streamed down my face as I pleaded. He quickly lifted her into the car.

I tried to rouse her over and over, fear overwhelming me as I realized she wasn't breathing. My hands shook as we sped to the hospital, the staff whisked her away to the ICU, and my heart raced with anxiety.

Every moment felt torturous as I waited, but then someone broke my thoughts. "It's okay now. She fainted from not eating or drinking properly. Just take care of her; she'll wake up in a few hours," the doctor informed me.

Relief washed over me like a heavy burden lifted, and I took a deep breath of gratitude, bowing respectfully. The doctor nodded and departed.

At the counter to pay the bill, I handed over my black card. "Ma'am, it's not working," the clerk said, looking at me curiously.

"What?" I was confused. "The card isn't working," she repeated. I couldn't believe it-how could this happen? It felt like a cruel joke.

Then the realization hit me, Jungkook was behind this.

Panic surged as the ground felt like it was giving way beneath me. The documents all gave him rights to my property too. My father had managed the company, the properties, and finances, but as I took over as chairman, I failed to separate the documents, leading to this predicament. Jungkook now controlled everything.

"I'll be back in a few minutes," I said, rushing to my car, only to find it missing as if it had vanished into thin air.

I quickly called Mr. Wang. "Mr. Wang? Where are you?" I asked, frustration building.

"Sorry, Ms. Lee, but Mr. Jeon ordered everyone to stay at the mansion," he said with a heavy sigh. My anger flared-this was my property, not his.

I was determined to confront Jungkook. Walking to his company building was my only option, despite the pain from my high heels.

Finally, I arrived, still catching my breath. The building dwarfed mine, and as I entered, I was overwhelmed by the elegance of the space and...

"Mr. Min!?"
