A hectic schedule was already getting on my nerves when I heard Ms. Choi speak.

"Ms. Lee, you have a meeting with the prominent businessman Mr. Kang, followed by a dinner with Mrs—" She had made the wrong move at just the right moment. She has the greatest bad luck than any other in this entire world.

"Enough! I don't have amnesia," I snapped, giving her an icy glare. As She looked scared, which was exactly my intention. But then I heard someone call my name. Great! Why is this day so frustrating? All I want is some alone time.

It felt like everyone was enjoying getting under my skin. I turned to see the same doe-eyed guy from before.

He approached me, and I wondered what he wanted now. "So, Ms. Lee, what’s the timing?" he asked, bashfully.

"What timing?" I replied, taken aback. "Um... the meeting for us," he said with a shy smile. Seriously? But I couldn’t refuse him; what if he spilled everything out to the reporters? My reputation would be ruined.

"Maybe 10:30 PM?" I suggested randomly. "But you have an important meeting with Mr. Seo," Ms. Choi interjected, which earned her a deadly glare from me. "Perfect! See you soon," he said, bowing respectfully.

I returned the bow and turned to leave, only to find Ms. Choi blocking my way. A smug smile crept onto my face as I approached her.

"Your salary is being cut in half," I declared, watching her go pale. "But—" she stammered. I interrupted, "Do you want the rest or not?" raising an eyebrow as I watched her almost begin to cry. But I didn’t care.

People only care about money. If you’re a billionaire, don’t let them take advantage of you. Use them instead, as they’re the desperate ones.

Next day:

I was eager to meet her

I was eager to meet her. I shared my excitement with my friends, who congratulated me, though they seemed a bit off.

Maybe it’s because it’s the last day of the university. I dressed to impress to ensure she noticed how charming I was, flashing a shy smile.

No one could resist my good looks, right? I grabbed the project I had been working on since college, convinced it would impress her.

I arrived 30 minutes early for the meeting, my excitement making my heart race. I simply couldn’t stop thinking about her—she was an angel. And how can I? I spotted her secretary and approached her with my project file.

"Where’s Ms. Lee?" I asked. She hesitated and said to wait an hour.

An hour!? She said she was busy. But it's fine; I can wait as long as she needs.

As I waited, I realized I was grinning the whole time.

YN’S POV:

I hurled the papers at her, feeling furious. "What is this?!" I shouted, glaring into her tear-filled eyes.

"What’s a makeup design doing in the land project? Do you realize how much this costs me?" I yelled, but all she did was stare at the floor, tears glistening in her eyes. I almost lost a business deal over this incompetent girl.

My rage reached its peak. "You’re fired," I said, my fury palpable as she stared at me in disbelief.

"It’s a—" I cut her off. "Get out!" I snapped, looking at another file.
"But—" she started, only for me to shout, "GET OUT!!" making her flinch.

She turned and ran out crying, but I didn’t care; she deserved it. I was focused on my work when I heard a knock at the door.

"Come in!" I shouted. I looked up to see the graduate boy?!

What was he doing here? I was annoyed at first—who let him in without my consent?

And then I realized it was Ms. Choi, and she was next on my chopping block. My eyes met his doe-like ones, and my frustration grew.

He greeted me, but I didn’t respond. He placed the file he brought in front of me, and suddenly, something snapped within me.

I flung the file aside, watching it fly through the air. I glared at him, and he looked completely taken aback. His eyes widened as I struggled to contain my anger.

I had to put people like him in their place.

"Lower your expectations, boy. You’re not anyone important," I spat, seeing him look stunned.

"You’re just a peasant waiting for orders," I added, watching his face fall in despair. "Stay in your limits," I warned, seeing the heartbreak in his eyes.

His hands balled into fists, and he glared back at me with rage.

"And since your standards are so cheap, I don’t have to explain your fucking nonsense," he retorted angrily as he stormed out.

I was taken aback by his words. Did he just call me cheap? I ground my teeth in anger. He had some nerve, and he was going to regret that soon...
