August 13, my father's memorial. Attending is essential, even with my busy schedule. I can't skip it, but

Will he even allow me to go? He never lets me leave his mansion, let alone travel to Busan to visit my father's grave! Not even in my nightmare. I need to think of a plan...

I finished my breakfast of tomato soup, croissants, and my favorite chocolate treats.

What should I do? As boredom set in, an idea struck me. Why not explore his mansion? Feeling adventurous, I decided to get up and wander around. Plus, it would be good exercise.

After all, maintaining health is important. But My path split in two, and both options looked extravagant. I've always had a preference for the right side, but this time, I opted for the left. I giggled to myself at the thought of accidentally breaking an expensive vase and witnessing his furious reaction.

A few minutes later...

My legs ached after what felt like hours in this extravagant paradise. I had spent three hours exploring that side and still hadn't seen the right side. His mansion was overwhelmingly luxurious with ornate decor and massive chandeliers. This place must have cost a fortune.

Everything about this home screamed opulence. But how did he even acquire such wealth?

Perhaps he’s involved with that dangerous mafia. Speaking of which, I know of a notorious mafia figure they call him the "Mafia’s Ace."

I wouldn't be surprised if they were close acquaintances. I sighed and made my way to the main door. I glanced around, noticing no maids were in sight and Jungkook would be back quite late. Maybe I could sneak away!? I smirked at the thought, but my enthusiasm faded.

Still, I didn’t want to flee, especially in this dress. But a quick look outside couldn't hurt, right? I longed for fresh air and a gentle breeze. Emboldened by my thoughts, I headed outside, only to stop short at the sight of numerous bodyguards. Do they think I’m some kind of threat!?

But they can’t stop me. As I stepped out, I spotted a large pond filled with vibrant water plants.

I just admired the beauty Jungkook truly lives in paradise

As I neared the pond, something caught my eye, a large cage that looked scarier than anything from a horror movie. Upon closer inspection, I saw two big dogs. A pit bull and a Siberian husky they were adorable!

Pitbull:

They looked well-fed and muscular, with six-pack abs. With those muscles and sharp teeth, they could easily harm someone. I gulped nervously while checking if the cage was locked.

A wide grin spread across my face when I confirmed it was secure. Time to have some fun! Approaching the cage with innocent intentions, I called out cheerfully.

"Hey there, big boys! Want to play?" One of them glanced at me as they lounged. I decided to get their attention by tossing a bit of grass their way, realizing this is what happens when there’s no phone to occupy my time. But they just ignored me. How rude!

I sighed, determined to make them pay for it. I grabbed a long piece of weed grass, just then hearing car sounds. Peering at the gate, I saw a black SUV, it must be Jungkook arriving.

I tried to ignore it; I had more pressing matters at hand. Kneeling by the cage with the weed in hand, I inched closer to the pit bull, thinking it seemed the most menacing.

He was asleep with his eyes closed, and I gently brushed the grass against his head to wake him, but he abruptly moved, causing the grass to go up his nose.

Shit!!! I cursed under my breath as I dropped the grass while he squealed in discomfort, prompting the other dog to bark at me.

"Hey! Calm down, big guys! It was an accident!" I giggled, trying to stifle my laughter.

The pit bull began pounding the cage in anger, startling me enough to make me stumble back. Oops... Looks like I poked the bear one too many times. "Sorry, big guy! I think it’s time for me to leave this dangerous territory." Just as I attempted to get up, I heard his voice.

"Looks like you’re having a good time..."
