No Jeon plea—

He crashed his lips against mine, causing me to flinch, but his grip on my waist steadied me as he squeezed tightly, making me hiss. My eyes opened wide in shock. As he softly brushed his lips against mine, his gentle touch sent shivers down my spine. I gripped his hand tighter, overwhelmed by an indescribable feeling that was, surprisingly, pleasurable—like a refreshing breeze on a hot day.

The crowd erupted in applause and cheers for us as I held onto his suit, partly enjoying the moment and his kiss.

Then he pulled back.

"You taste good," he said, licking his lips, which made my cheeks flush with embarrassment. Did I actually enjoy his kiss? And with my so-called enemy, no less? This was undoubtedly the worst day of my life.

I shot him a glare for my foolishness. "Smile for the camera, darling," he said with that annoying devilish grin I despised. He remained the same mean jerk, even if he did have the face of a Greek god.

I forced a smile that oozed sarcasm, and it looked quite ugly. Soon, I realized it would be shared for the whole world to see. Great, now they will retrend the hashtag “Her life sucks .”

Time skip...

I changed into a stunning ball gown straight out of a storybook, complete with a beautiful floral design that made it look enchanting. I was in love with it.

I paired the dress with smooth cream ankle-strap heels, a pearl necklace, and a simple back bow for my hair

I paired the dress with smooth cream ankle-strap heels, a pearl necklace, and a simple back bow for my hair. As I made my way downstairs, I admired the gorgeous venue until I spotted Jungkook, dressed in black again. It seemed like he was possessed with that colour.

I stood next to him, but he didn’t even acknowledge me, making me feel invisible

So rude!

We began greeting guests, some of whom we recognized from the business world.

"You look amazing—like the perfect couple," Mr. Jeong remarked with a bright smile, which made me wonder what he would look like if I knocked his teeth out, he would look very adorable with the teeth of a toddler. I maintained a fake smile while cursing in my head.

“Perfect couple”—please, I knew I was far better off than him.We were supposed to be enemies, and that would never change.

I sighed heavily, wishing for my mom’s presence. I kept scanning the crowd for her.

Where is she? Then I noticed Ms. Choi and felt a spark of hope. She must have come with my secretary; I knew she cared about me. When Ms. Choi approached to congratulate me, I eagerly asked if my mom was with her.

She sighed and shook her head, looking disappointed, which made my heart sink.

I understand, I said, forcing a smile while feeling sick inside. How could she miss her own daughter's wedding?

After bidding Ms. Choi goodbye, I continued greeting guests when a man approached me with a bouquet.

"Yn, how are you?" he asked as he hugged me.

His sudden action made me flinch, and I felt goosebumps from the bad aura he radiated. However, I recognized him from portraits in my mansion. He was my darn uncle.

"Oh! How are you, Uncle?" I replied with a fake smile, feeling uneasy about his presence.

"Aww, my baby, you’ve grown up so fast. It's shocking to see you marrying him," he said with a smile that seemed more like a smirk—cunning and suspicious. I couldn't respond; and if really should what would I tell him!? That I had made a foolish mistake, landing me in this mess.

As I glanced at Jungkook, I saw him glaring at me with intense anger, which sent chills down my spine making me gulp and quickly shift my gaze to my uncle.

“Anyways, I wish you a happy married life,” he said, breaking eye contact, giving me chills. He was the one who helped me with the case Jungkook had filed against me.

He walked away, and I turned back to Jungkook, who grabbed my hand firmly. "What are you doing?" I whispered, but he ignored my question.

He led me out of the wedding hall and directly to the parking lot. I jerked my hand away.

"What the hell are you doing?" I asked, staring into his dark eyes filled with rage, opting to stay silent as that seemed the safest choice. He reached his car and told the driver to exit, which puzzled me.

What is he up to? He yanked me by the wrist and shoved me into his Mercedes Benz. "Have you lost your mind, Are you crazy?" I hissed, remembering all the guests at the reception.

"You haven’t seen crazy yet," he replied in a gravelly voice that sent shivers down my spine. Then he began to drive.

I was furious with him for refusing to answer my questions. I remained quiet.

The usually crowded road was eerily empty, sending chills through me as he sped up. At first, it felt normal, but soon it was terrifying.

"Jeon, please stop!" I shouted in fear, but he continued to drive recklessly. The road may not have been busy, but it wasn't devoid of vehicles.

I clutched the car door tightly as he nearly collided with a truck, he is keeping my life at a risk, making me shut my eyes and bite my lip hard.

This man has truly gone mad...
