Eliot's house was already buzzing with the energy of the Halloween party. The living room was filled with a mix of people, some in costumes and others opting for a more casual look. The lights were dimmed, and eerie decorations adorned the walls, casting spooky shadows across the room. The smell of weed lingered in the air, mingling with the scent of alcohol and snacks.

Eliot, dressed as the Joker from the 2016 "Suicide Squad," was making his rounds, a blunt in one hand and a bottle of vodka in the other. His costume was spot-on, complete with the iconic green hair, white face paint, and a maniacal grin that he had perfected after hours in front of the mirror. His laughter echoed through the room as he joked with friends and posed for pictures, clearly enjoying the festive atmosphere.

As he was about to take another hit from his blunt, the doorbell rang. He made his way to the door, slightly swaying from the effects of the alcohol. Opening it, he was greeted by the sight of Taylor and her friends. Taylor was dressed as Ariel from "The Little Mermaid," her red hair cascading over her shoulders in waves, and a shimmering green mermaid tail hugging her curves.

Eliot's grin widened as he saw her, his eyes lighting up with drunken delight. "Tay!" he exclaimed, wrapping her in a tight hug. "You made it! And you look amazing."

Taylor laughed, hugging him back. "Thanks, Eliot. You look... intense," she said, eyeing his Joker costume with a mix of amusement and admiration.

Eliot stepped back, holding the door open wider. "Come on in, all of you! Welcome to the madness."

Taylor and her friends stepped inside, greeted by the lively chaos of the party. Some were dressed in elaborate costumes, while others had opted for simpler outfits. The music was loud, a mix of Halloween-themed songs and popular hits, adding to the vibrant atmosphere.

Eliot guided Taylor and her friends through the crowd, introducing them to people as they went. He kept a protective arm around Taylor, making sure she felt welcome and comfortable. They eventually made their way to the kitchen, where a variety of drinks and snacks were laid out.

"Help yourselves," Eliot said, gesturing to the spread. "We've got everything you could possibly want."

Taylor smiled, grabbing a drink and taking a sip. "This place looks great, Eliot. You really went all out."

Eliot chuckled, taking a swig from his vodka bottle. "Had to make it a night to remember. I'm glad you're here."

Taylor's friends mingled with the other guests, quickly becoming part of the festive scene. Taylor stayed close to Eliot, enjoying his company and the infectious energy he brought to the party. Despite the loud music and the chaos around them, they found moments of connection, laughing and talking as if they were the only two people in the room.

At one point, Eliot's cousins, Izzie and Noah, joined them. Izzie was dressed as a witch, complete with a pointy hat and a broomstick, while Noah had opted for a classic vampire look, with fake blood dripping from his mouth and a cape that billowed dramatically behind him.

"Taylor!" Izzie exclaimed, giving her a hug. "You look incredible!"

"Thank you, Izzie. You look pretty amazing yourself," Taylor replied, returning the hug.

Noah grinned, his fangs flashing in the dim light. "Glad you could make it, Taylor. Eliot's been talking about you non-stop."

Taylor blushed, glancing at Eliot who shrugged with a sheepish smile. "What can I say? She's special."

The night continued with drinks, laughter, and dancing. Eliot and Taylor found themselves on the dance floor, moving to the beat of the music. Eliot's Joker persona was on full display, his wild moves and infectious energy drawing a crowd. Taylor laughed and danced along, feeling a sense of freedom and joy she hadn't experienced in a long time.
