TW: transphobia (needed a villain for the plot and Scott drew the short straw. Absolutely no hate!!!) use of "transvestite"

Eliot sat in the VIP box, his leg still in a splint, but his spirits high as he watched Taylor's Eras Tour in Argentina. Night 2 was in full swing, and the energy in the stadium was palpable. Fans waved their "We Will Stay" signs, and Eliot couldn't help but bop along with the music. The atmosphere was electrifying, and he felt an immense sense of pride watching Taylor perform.

He noticed Scott Swift, Taylor's father, in the VIP area as well, but there was a strange distance in Scott's demeanour. Every time Eliot tried to make eye contact or engage in conversation, Scott seemed to find a reason to move away. It left Eliot feeling awkward and uncertain, a gnawing worry tugging at the back of his mind. Why was Scott avoiding him?

Despite the awkwardness, Eliot couldn't help but smile whenever Taylor glanced his way from the stage. She winked at him several times, each gesture sending a flutter through his heart. The fans went crazy every time she acknowledged the VIP box, and Eliot's heart swelled with pride and affection for her.

As the concert neared its end, the excitement in the stadium reached a fever pitch. Taylor began singing "Karma," the last song of the night. Eliot remembered Taylor mentioning something about a "hard launch," but he hadn't paid much attention to it, assuming it was just another of her concert surprises.

Then, as she reached the chorus, Taylor switched the lyric from "Karma is the guy on the screen," to "Karma is the guy on the Current." The realization hit Eliot like a tidal wave, and his eyes widened in shock. The fans around him erupted into deafening cheers, practically shaking the stadium with their excitement.

Eliot felt his face heat up as he blushed deeply. He couldn't help but cheer loudly, his heart pounding in his chest. Taylor had just publicly acknowledged their relationship in the most spectacular way possible. The roar of the crowd was overwhelming, and Eliot could barely hear himself think.

As the song ended, Taylor blew a kiss toward the VIP box, and Eliot couldn't contain his joy. He stood up, despite the awkwardness of his splint, and cheered as loudly as he could. The fans around him were going wild, some even chanting his name, "Eliot! Eliot!"

Taylor's performance ended with a final flourish, and the stadium lights dimmed. The crowd continued to cheer, and Eliot found himself surrounded by fans congratulating him and expressing their support. It was a surreal moment, one that felt both exhilarating and overwhelming.

When the concert ended and the lights in the stadium began to dim, Eliot found himself being led by Scott to a black box area near the side of the stage. They waited there, standing off to the side as fans began to file out, still buzzing with excitement from the performance. Eliot's heart raced with anticipation, the reality of what had just happened sinking in.

He glanced over at Scott, who seemed more relaxed now, his earlier apprehension replaced with a calm acceptance. Scott gave Eliot a reassuring nod, and Eliot smiled back, grateful for the support.

As the crowd thinned, Eliot's eyes were drawn to the stage entrance. He could barely contain his excitement when he finally caught a glimpse of Taylor, still in her shimmering Midnight's bodysuit, glowing with post-performance adrenaline. She looked ethereal, and Eliot felt his heart swell with love.

Taylor's eyes found his, and she broke into a wide grin. Without hesitation, she ran toward him, her arms outstretched. Eliot opened his arms, ready to catch her, and she practically leaped into his embrace. Her momentum nearly knocked him off balance, but he held her tightly, laughing with joy.

"No more hiding," Taylor whispered against his lips before kissing him passionately. Eliot's heart soared, and he kissed her back, pouring all his love and relief into that moment.
