The day was going good till it came to lunch time, you thought everyone had dropped the topic of you and Ushiijima till you walked closer to the table and heard the conversation

"So how was it?" Goshiki asked, was that even important? Gross, even if we did do it why would they wanna know the details

"How was what?" Ushijima replied cluelessly, his cluelessness was so cute sometimes

"You know, you and l/n" ōhira added onto Goshiki's question, why would they want to know?

Ushijima raised an eyebrow confusedly as he ate his food, oh my gosh he was so clueless

"Why are you guys so focused on details, does it really matter?" Shirabu asked, the voice of reason at the moment

"I just wanna know if there actually that size" Goshiki shrugged, you stood there shocked. What the fuck!!!

"You know you can just ask! You're such a perv" you said grossed out as you sat down at the end of the table "not that I'd tell you of all people!" You were discussed but you weren't going to let that ruin the mood "also nothing happened, it was just first base" even though it was TMI you didn't like people assuming you and Ushiijima had sex, it was uncomfortable

"But he was in his boxers" Tendou was confused, finally he was listening to what you were saying

"I just got out of the shower" Ushiijima shrugged, finally he knew what we were talking about

"Ohhhh" Tendou chuckled a little, it was all just a misunderstanding

"then why were you both in that position?" Semi asked, you thought the situation was solved

"I was sitting on his bed while we were hugging cause we kinda argued and I feel backwards" you simply explained, a bit embarrassed, you were happy that this whole issue was resolved

"What was the argument about?" Yamagata asked as he ate his food, oh my gosh can we get off of the topic of me and Ushijima

"It's personal, I don't wanna say" you started to eat your food, they all turned to Ushiijima, he just shook his head. I love when he listens to stuff I say, he really doesn't have to but he does, it's sweet

Lunch went normal till it was over, you and Ushiijima were walking to your next class having a normal conversation till Ushijima changed the topic "Goshiki's question, are they" his asked quietly, he still had that stoic look on his face

You thought for a second before you realized what he was talking about "does it matter?" You asked embarrassedly as you refused to look at him after such an embarrassing question

"I guess not" he shrugged, did he actually want to know? Why would he? That's kinda personal

I sighed as we walked into class, we sat down as I thought about it "yah" you replied even though he asked a few minutes ago

"What?" He was confused, he thought they were off that topic since you didn't want to answer it

"That's my answer" you shrugged, you weren't gonna repeat yourself nor the question, he just had to get it himself

As class started you heard a small one off chuckle, it took him a little to get that. He grabbed your hand under the table and held your hand on your lap as he caressed the back of your hand with his thumb, he was so sweet when he wanted to be

At practice everyone was working hard until the end when coach Washijō called everyone because he had something to say

"So we were given a pretty late invitation to have some practice games at a university, as I said it was a late invitation so it's in two days, it'll be an overnight trip" coach Washijō finished his little speech and everyone was talking about it, who they were gonna room with and how they thought the game was gonna go

You could care less since you knew you were gonna get your own room and you were the manager so the main game itself didn't really bother you until the day of. You were cleaning up the equipment while everyone chatted and packed their stuff up

You put the net away before you walked out of the gym, you were excited for the practice game but it didn't concern you as much as the rest of the volleyball team, you suddenly felt a hand around your waist but you knew it was Ushijima

"Are you excited?" You looked up at Ushijima, he still had that stoic look on his face, you don't know what you were expecting

"I guess, it'll be good practice for finals" Ushijima replied, he was thinking about the team, not even the fact it was time away from school or a good bonding moment between team members, nope just the impact on the teams skills. I guess it was nice he cared about winning and improvement

"Yah I guess so" you shrugged as he walked her to her dorm, what a gentleman

"I'll see you tomorrow" you opened your dorm door as he wrapped his arms around you from behind and kissed your neck before he started walking down the hallway

"C'ya" he replied simply, the whole moment left you frozen standing at your door for a few seconds before you walked into your room blushing like crazy
