-Aria-
Aria was delighted Gabe met her before work.
It made her feel wonderful.
She walked to the garden with a book in her hand. A variety of flowers were planted in a wonderful design by the swing. Some vegetables were growing on one side and there was also a sitting area with a long wooden table and small lights.
The swing with some comfy pillows looked like the perfect place to sit and read.
As she continued reading she heard the glass door open and close. A couple of moments later she saw 2 pairs of shoes.
One red and one black.
Looking up she found Aldo and Luka staring. They had a smile on their face and were offering her something. Aria put her hand out to grab it, maintaining eye contact in case Aldo decided he didn't want to give it. After reaching and taking ahold of the cold blue packet she realizes it's a popsicle!
She thanks him before opening it and tasting the treat, it's delicious!
She gets up from the swing and gestures for the boys to sit, they do. Luka realizing she was planning on standing pulls her to sit between them. They laugh at her blushed face, and after a few seconds, she joins them as well. 4 minutes of them pass just eating the popsicle and enjoying the warm yet windy weather.
After finishing up the treat she gets up and tries to take the wrappers from their hands to throw away. Aldo gets up and takes hers instead, "don't worry Riri, I got it!"
He takes Luka's as well and heads inside to throw it away.
Luka turns to look at the book Aria was reading, To All the Boys I've Loved Before, and snorts after reading the title.
"You better hope it's loved for you too because there's no way your brothers would ever let you date."
That confused her but perhaps it was because they didn't want anyone else to come over and be responsible of. It was understandable.
Aldo comes back out with Zeno beside him. They take a seat on the couches next to the swing.
"Well, what should we all do?" Also asks.
It warms Aria's heart knowing that they wanted to be with her. She didn't mind and shrugs her shoulders.
"Tag?" Luka suggests looking over at Zeno and Aldo.
They in turn look at me with questioning gazes. I've only played tag a couple of times at school, perhaps it will still be enjoyable.
"Sure, I don't mind," I reply gently, getting up from the swing.
"Well since Luka suggested it, he will go first," Aldo announces and runs off.
"That's not how it's supposed to work!" Luka yells going after him.
Zeno grabs my hand and rushes us to the far right of the backyard. I didn't even look at this part very closely yet it was beautiful! I see a badminton, basketball, and football field. There was one area that was just grass. A large steel fence blocking all this area from the trees in the back. The steel fence contained giant gates which led to the beautiful forest in the back.
I couldn't run too quickly so I tugged on his hand a little. He slowed down and let go, still staying close to me. We turn around and see Aldo, who's it, running our way. I run to the right by the badminton area while Zeno goes to the football field.
I see Aldo chasing Zeno around and stopped to take a little break from running. Luka was sneaking behind Aldo and threw what seemed to be a fake snake at him. Which caused Aldo to chase Luka.
