After coming from the bathroom, Matteo and Luke left to take care of the gym. I asked to come along but was denied.
10 minutes after leaving, Luke came to hand me some supplies. There were snacks, craft-related items, and a blanket. He didn't say where he got them from but after I thanked him, he quietly left, closing the door.
A couple of hours were of me just making some bracelets from the set Luke brought. I made some for my brothers as well.
At noon sharp Luke came through and brought me some food. I wasn't feeling hungry, but he said he'll be in trouble if I don't eat.
I don't want to upset or trouble him.
He picked up the plates after we finished and left.
I decided to make him a bracelet as well since he's been so kind. The next couple of hours were of me reading and thinking of some new bracelet designs
When Matteo came back in the room it was around 5:00 pm. He motions for me to get up and walks out the door. I hurriedly pick up my mess and fold the blanket that was beside me. After organizing as fast as I can, I walked out of the room with my book and bracelets.
I couldn't see Matteo so I walked toward the direction we first entered. Although no one was in sight, gruff voices could be heard from all around.
I kept walking straight and noticed Matteo on the phone. As I was walking towards him I saw Luke entering from another room. He smiles and waved at me.
I should probably give him his bracelet.
I start to walk his way when I suddenly feel a big hand placed on my shoulder, yanking me back. I let out a surprised gasp and fall back.
The cut on my shoulder rips open and I can feel a wet sensation on my shoulder. My eyes are shut tightly as I try to remove the man's hand from my body.
He leans very close to my face and says, "non dovresti essere qui, ragazzina," In a deep condescending tone.
"S-sir I don't sp-" I was cut off when Matteo punched the man across his face.
I gasp and my heart quickens its beat.
"Car," Matteo says in a deep voice and continues glaring at the man who was now bleeding on the ground.
I squint my eyes tightly and turn away before feeling Luke pull my hand. He helps me up and I quickly follow him as he walks us outside.
The car is unlocked and he watches as I get in.
"Matteo will be here soon, but are you feeling alright?" Luke's eyes run over my face, looking to see if I was hurt.
"Don't w-worry, I'm alright," I say lightly trying to reassure him, even though it was a lie.
Nothing was alright, my shoulder was in pain.
Luke nods slowly and backs out, saying goodbye and going back inside.
The moment he closed the door I couldn't hold in my tears anymore. I lean forward and rest my head on the dashboard. Taking deep breaths to lessen the pain.
