Jake was latched on to the couch in their dorm's living room so bored with his one hand deep in the nearly empty pack of crunchy seaweed, intermittently sipping on the iced americano from an unusual angle. He put on some random pop music playlist  that he wasn't listening at all. It was all tiresome to keep up with the schedules and practices. Soon he heard the front door click to see none other than Jay with his guitar slung on his shoulder.

"It's so quiet here. Where's everyone else?? " Jay spoke sluggishly.

"The younger three went out. Said they were craving for ice cream and a movie night at that. Hoon is staying with his family today."

" This late??"

" Manager hyung is with them. "

" Heeseung Hyung?? "

Jake shrugged his shoulder. Jay took note of the slumped posture and the mannerisms.

"This position is going to give you a cervical bulge... come on sit up... "

Jake sat up handing Jay whatever that was left in the packet. Jay took a bite and pondered over some things that he finally let out,
"Is things alright between you and Heeseung hyung "

"What if I say no?" Jake deadpanned.

"I'll have a hard time believing that."

"I know he's close with us in the group but he has his other soulmates out there and we're always shut out from his personal life. "

"Not you."

"Not anymore. "

"Why ?? What happened?"

"Yea... "
He sighed and continued,
"I wanted to tell you this before... so... uhm.. I- ughh I tried to kiss hyung..."

Jay choked on the seaweed on the way of swallowing. He looked bewildered by the reveal.
"Hey be careful....
....huhh.... It wouldn't have hurt me if he uhh if he only turned his head away.... but his way of rejection before confession was quite alarmingly unexpected a-and hurtful...... "

Jay's eyes were already out of the socket. Jake found his facial expression funny so he laughed a bit his eyes moist as well. Jay hugged the boy and patted on his back.

"I got you bro I got you....
.....Why didn't you let me know sooner?? "

"I didn't know what to do. "

"Uhm and you're telling me you're gay after all these years of struggling alone?? You came out to me only right I mean of course apart from hyung. "

"....mhmm... It's been over a month.... btw I'm bi Jay..." Jake said rolling his eyes out of habit.

Jay took his palm in his hands and asked,
"Have you ever felt anything for me?? "

"What the fvck dude? " Jake snatched his hand back at the speed of light.

"I've always fancied some boy asking me out ."

"I'm discussing things with the wrong person I guess... " Jake was so done with Jay's fantasies.

"No look I'll be supporting you okay. You're so brave to confess your feelings. You know that right??"

" yes...  "

Jay saw Jake's eyebrows still knitted together.
" Say all of it."

"The thing is nothing concerning me but him
like he did say no, but the problem is that he convinces himself to be straight Jay."

"You mean he actually has feelings for yo-"

Jake raised both of his hands in the air.

"Oh naurrr....  I'm already tied up and I feel like you're on crack."
