You and Lo'ak sat on the shore watching Tsireya and Tuk play with a younger Ilu. "I love her already!" You heard Tuk laugh, and then there was a long silence. "So when are you going to talk about it?" Lo'ak said. "Talk about what?" I scoffed back, watching what Kiri was doing very carefully. "You know the... whole... our parents trading you for a house thing..." "Correction, your parents. I'm convinced I'm just another tag-a-long, trust me." "It was really f*cked up what dad did. I'm sorry..." "It's not your fault, kiddo." you look back at him and smile, punching his shoulder gently which make you both laugh.
You stopped paying attention to Kiri and Tuk and more on Ao'nung. Your 'mate'. He wasn't bad looking to any standard, but he was rude. At least on the outside so it was hard to find a redeeming quality. If you were going to be damned for all eternity, why wouldn't you want it to be with someone you care about? While getting lost in your thoughts, you see Ao'nung messing with his friends, somehow, they all still laugh.
You, Neteyam, Kiri, Lo'ak, Tsireya, and Roxto were all sitting on a flat rock, close to shore. "Breathe in... breathe out" Tsireya instructed. You had pretty much had spaced out and not processed a single word and Ao'nung came up from behind everyone and spoke up. "(Y/N), other flat rock, right there. Sit." He told you after seeing you not pay attention. "Uhm... Manners maybe? Say please or something, damn..." You spoke, hesitant to get up once again just to see how aggravated he would get with you. "Please (Y/N)..." he spoke before his voice turned into a slight growl. "Get on the rock... so I may teach you." He said, obviously completely upset but trying to remain calm and take deep breaths throughout the whole sentence. "Alright, fine." You scowled and got up to sit on the rock and Roxto gently tapped Tsireya and pointed to his, growing more flustered by the second face. She just giggled.
"Breathe like you've never taken a breath before." He said while taking his hand and simulated breathing as best as he could. "How do I do that?" You asked him, scoffing. He got closer to you, not quite touching you, but he could if he shifted at all. "Breathe in." He directed you and you did so, your posture not quite fixing itself.
He grabs your lower back and your shoulder and straightened out your posture. "Now...." he spoke, "Breathe." You did as he requested, his hands still on your body. "You wont get anywhere with your heart beating that fast..." He scoffed and looked to the side, his face turning a darker shade of magenta than it had been this morning, his face remained hardened. Turned to stone, it seemed. "Yeah... sorry." You didn't know what else to say or do. "Would you like me to remove my hands" He asked, gazing into your eyes. "I don't mind either way." You said before thinking about it. "Okay." He looked at you again and his hands were more guiding than anything else. "Good," He chuckled. "Just like that." He smiled again.
