“Tuk! Keep up! (Y/N) is already so far ahead of us!” Lo’ak yelled, but you could hardly hear him. You were running through the forest; swinging through trees and vines, kicking the occasional leaf filled with water while you laughed. You didn’t run out of breath easily, you’ve been running and jumping to build up stamina your whole life. Nothing could be better than the forest. When they finally caught up to you, you heard Spider say, “Dude, why did you bring her anyway?” “She’s such a crybaby. I’m telling, you’re not supposed to go to the battlefield. I’ll tell mom if you don’t let me come!” Lo’ak mocked while Tuk stuck her tongue out. “Don’t pick on her!” You and Kiri said in unison. You all kept walking until you reached an old ship that got caught in vines and you started to explore. You made sure to stay with Tuk so she wouldn’t get hurt. “Which finger do you want to hold this time Tuk? My pointer finger” You tickled her with your first finger, “My middle finger” You tickled her with that one, “My ring finger,” You tickled her with that one, “Or my pinky finger?” You tickled her with your full hand this time, lifting her up and bringing her back down. “I wanna hold your pinky!!” She said laughing.
When you both caught back up with the group, they were looking for Kiri. She had always been good with nature. As if Ewya herself blessed Kiri. You almost started to panic until you saw her walk out with Spider. Walking back home, Lo’ak stopped in his tracks at a giant footprint. “What is that?” he asked. “We’re supposed to be home by eclipse!” Tuk exclaimed as if she knew dad was gonna kill us. “Tuk is right Lo’ak, I’m the oldest so I’ll get in massive trouble-” You didn’t even get to finish when you heard him say something else. “It’s way too big for a human.” You said in sync looking at the print finally. “Avatars?” Spider suggested, Tuk holding onto Kiri rather than you this time. “Maybe..but they’re for sure not ours..” Lo’ak remarked. You knew no Avatar would be this far into the forest. They’re not that stupid. They’re not Lo’ak. Lo’ak, you, and Spider walked on; following the tracks. “What are you doing?” Kiri asked, knowing exactly what we were doing. “Shh, I’m tracking..” Lo’ak shushed Kiri, you in turn grabbed his shoulder and went ahead of him in case. “I’m scared (Y/N)..” Tuk said quietly. “I know Tuk, I know..” you said back, not turning your head to her. You couldn’t afford to miss anything.
Your siblings and Spider all snuck up on the point where the tracks visibly ended. “Lo’ak, be at my call..” You whispered to him and he in turn nodded. “We are never supposed to go here.” Kiri scolded us as if we didn’t know we’d already be in big trouble. “Dad is going to ground you both;” “Sh! stop!” we told Kiri simultaneously. “For life.” she added just to get on our nerves. “Bro, we have got to check this out..” Lo’ak nodded his head to Spider. You grabbed Lo’ak’s arm, “Are you crazy?! You’re gonna get killed!!” You said but he just brushed you off as if he didn’t care. You snuck around Lo’ak and grabbed his ear making him wince. “At least I’m going to get killed before you do. I am the eldest, you do as I say… Follow me.” You told the group.
“Bro, that’s where your dad and my dad fought…” Spider said, observing the tall blue figures. “That’s your dads actual suit!” He exclaimed quietly with a smile. You tapped them on the shoulder, “Sh” you said. “Sorry, but holy s***” Spider remarked. You could hear them start talking and you covered the boy’s mouths.
“Lyle, see if you can pull some of that footage off of that dashcam.” What looked to be their leader spoke out. “Thing is deader than s***, Colonel.” The other man, Lyle, remarked. “So were we.” another man spoke.
“Better call this in..” Lo’ak looked to you and you nodded. “No bro, we’re gonna get in so much trouble.” Spider looked worried. “Let’s go.” You said as you lead the group elsewhere.
