Monday morning, Nicole gets out of bed and starts to get ready for school. She forgot that Vance stayed the night cause of his drunk mom. She taps his shoulder, "Vance get up" she said. Vance groans and rises up. "I have some clothes for you on my chair, you can go grab them." She said to him. She nodded and headed to the bathroom to brush his teeth. She waits for him on the edge of the bed with her bookbag on and reading a book. "Why are you reading a book?" He asked. "It's apart our science project, did you read the book?!" She said jumping up. "Holy shit I didn't." He said. "Well once you get a F don't come crying to me." She said. "I won't." They walk out the door and start to walk to school. "Hey I'm gonna stop by the grab n go before I go, I'll be there soon." He said. She nods and starts to walk. Having no idea that will be the last time she hears his voice.
