I was incredibly thankful that I was in class 2-1. A lot of the people who I met are in class 2-2, meaning that they won't be able to annoy me. The only downside is that Mui and Yui are both in class 2-2. Why couldn't they just put us all in the same class? Beats me...

There are only two people I know in this class. Osano and that other boy. Raibaru is his name, I think. I sat between Raibaru and another boy.

Actually... Now that I think about it, I do know the boy sitting to my right. I don't know his name, but I've seen him multiple times. When we bumped into each other on the first day, yesterday at town.

I couldn't get those piercing black eyes out of my head last night, and that's saying something! He gives me a bad feeling that I can't describe.

As I looked down at my worksheet blankly, I couldn't help but feel someone staring at me. I glanced to my side and saw the black-eyed boy looking at me. He didn't say anything, nor did it look like he was going to say anything. He just stared. It was unnerving.

"Can I help you?" I asked, tilting my head slightly.

My words seemed to snap him out of his trance. He coughed and glanced around.

"Oh... Um..." He mumbled, his face growing red.

Before he could answer my question, the bell rang. He quickly stood and left the class. I watched him go, now even more confused.

"Don't worry about him," Osano said, walking to my side, "That's Aishi Ayato. He acts like he has emotions, but we all know that he's just faking it."

"Osano! Don't be rude!" Raibaru huffed.

"What? It's true! And I know you agree with me, Raibaru!"

"Okay, but that doesn't mean you can bully him for it!"

"I'm not bullying him! I'm just saying!"

"Can you both be quiet? Your voices are giving me a headache..." I said, walling out of the classroom.

"Y/N-chan!"

I groaned and looked to see who was calling for me. It was... Amao, I think, is his name. He was accompanied by Yuichiro.

"Oh, it's so good to see you again! I didn't get a proper chance to speak to you since I was so rudely interrupted..." He said, glaring behind me before looking back at me, "As I was saying, you should stop by my parents' bakery one day! It's just down the street from the grocery shop, so you should have no trouble finding it! Nobody bakes better pastries than my mom and dad!"

"She's not listening to you, y'know," Yuichiro pointed out, gesturing at how I was just looking at Amao with a blank gaze.

Amao laughed nervously and pulled me along.

"Well, whether you're listening or not, I'm sure you're still up for some food!"

And that was how I spent the next hour in the cooking club, taste testing all of Amao's sweets and snacks. He seemed really insistent on me eating them, but I didn't pay much mind to it, because his cooking was really good.

When we walked out of the classroom, my tummy was full, and I was satisfied. I also felt a bit drowsy, so I held Yui's hand and leaned against his shoulder as we walked down the hallway.

There were still a few students lingering. Specifically, boys wearing white gakurans. I wasn't too focused on them because of how tired I was, but it did feel as if they were watching me. How odd... Why is everyone around me so keen on what I'm doing?

Amao's sweet smile disappeared as soon as Y/N left his line of sight. He went to the garbage can and rummaged through the bin until he found the two cupcake liners that she had thrown away.

The fact that her mouth and tongue was on them. It's not his fault that he's curious! He is a teenager, after all, and with all of the hormones going through him... Why wouldn't he want to do... things with what his crush put her mouth on?
