Akademi is boring. Throughout the past few days that I've been attending, nothing fun has been going on. It's so unlike Kimetsu. I can't remember the exact details, but I remember doing something exciting every other day. It's been getting colder out, and my mom is sensitive to the cold. She got really sick the other day, and my dad is a doctor, so he'll be away for much of the day. My brothers decided to stay home - Muichiro as the main support and Yuichiro as backup. Why I had to go to school? I dunno.
As I sat on the school rooftop alongside Osano, Taro, Hanakō, and Raibaru, I stared up at the sky. It's the only interesting thing I can really do.
I've noticed something odd about Osano's and Hanakō's behavior. It's as if they're always watching me. I don't know if I'm being paranoid or not, but whenever I'm near them, I feel a chill go down my spine. It's uncomfortable.
"Y/N-chan?" Hanakō said.
I turned to look at him. He stared at me with those big black eyes. They were unnerving.
"Can I have some of your-"
"You do this every day, Hanakō," I said.
It was true. At first, I would forget about it, but he's been doing it repeatedly that it's made it hard to forget. Every day, he'll ask for some of my food, and after eating from my chopsticks, he'll get all blushy. He pouted and tugged on my sleeve.
"Please?" He asked, his voice high-pitched and whiny.
I furrowed my brows and shook my head. Why was he talking like that?
"Leave her alone, Hanakō," Osano said sharply, narrowing his eyes at the younger boy.
They stared at each other for a moment before Hanakō stood abruptly, his eyes filled with tears.
"Fine! I'll go find people who appreciate me!"
With that, he ran off. Was that supposed to make me feel bad? It didn't work. I simply continued to eat my food.

Hanakō ran into the boy's bathroom and stood in front of the sinks. He wiped away his fake tears, a proud smile on his face.
'She'll feel so guilty!' He thought.
"Did you just attempt to gaslight my darling?" An ominous voice said behind him.
Hanakō looked in the mirror, and surely enough, a boy stood behind him. He had black hair and eyes. But his eyes were blank. Aishi Ayato. Hanakō huffed.
"Your darling?" He said, turning to face the taller boy.
"Hanakō!" Osano's familiar voice called out, walking into the bathroom.
"Great. I can kill two birds with one stone," Ayato said, "Listen, you both better stay away from
Y/N-chan if you know what's good for you."Osano narrowed his eyes at Ayato.
"The hell do you think you're talking to, you emotionless freak?" He spat, sizing him up.
A vein became visible in Ayato's forehead, and he reached into his pocket for his knife, about to approach Osano when Hanakō stood in front of him.
"Are you stupid?! There are cameras in the hallway, you know! If you kill us both, the cameras will see you walking out with both, not to mention that we're the only three people in here!" Hanakō reasoned, "I don't like either of you, but we shouldn't physically fight each other. Not in such an open space, anyway."
Osano and Ayato looked at Hanakō in surprise. They couldn't believe they heard something so... reasonable come from such a childish boy. Ayato sighed and put his knife back into his pocket.
"Just... Stay away from her, carrot top," Ayato said.
"In your dreams, psycho boy," Osano responded.
Ayato gave him a harsh look before leaving the boy's bathroom.

I grabbed my F/C scarf from my foot locker and wrapped it around my waist, more than eager to return home when someone tapped my shoulder. I let out a quiet groan and looked to see who it was. It's the emotionless boy in my class. His usually pale face was flushed.
"Can I help you?" I asked after a few seconds of him staring at me.
He took a deep breath before replying.
"I... Hi...! I... Um... I'm Aishi Ayato...!" He introduced, holding out his hand.
My gaze flickered to his outstretched hand before back to his face.
"Tokito Y/N," I said boredly, taking his hand in mine.
He held my hand a bit too tightly and shook it roughly. He quickly pulled away and took another breath.
"I... I was wondering if... Y'know... You wanted to hang out with me this weekend...?" He mustered.
"Sorry, but I probably won't remember-"
"I wrote it down for you!"
He rummaged through his pocket before pulling out a small slip. He held it out to me, and I took it. Written on it was:
'Aishi Ayato
'Meet at park on Saturday 2:30 p.m.'
I looked back up at him and saw him twiddling with his fingers. I sighed and put the slip in my bag.
"Okay," I said simply, turning to walk away.
"Wait!"
He grabbed my shoulder and pulled me back suddenly. He quickly pulled away, a sheepish look on his face.
"Sorry! I... Uhm... I was just wondering if you wanted to exchange phone numbers...! So you don't forget!"
"... Sure."
I pulled out my phone and handed it to him. He seemed a little too excited to hold my phone. He took out his own and put his phone number in mine. He held my phone for longer than he had to, but he eventually did return it.
"Thank you...!"
With that, he quickly walked out of the school. I changed into my outdoor shoes and walked outside. When I went past the gate, I looked around to see where he went, but he was nowhere in sight. How could he disappear so fast? I shrugged my shoulders and started walking in the direction of my home.
And, once again, the feeling of being watched returned. I shook my head, dismissing it as being paranoid. But no matter how much I tried to shake it away, no matter how much I tried to look around, I could feel daggers boring holes into my back.

A/N: Hanakō's gonna be the type of yandere to constantly gaslight Y/N (except it doesn't really work on her).
