Cutting the call I slam the phone down onto my desk and turn my attention to my lead advisor Bogdan where he sits opposite me with his own phone to his ear.
He nods and hums his understanding to whatever he's being told and then cuts his call.
"Well?" I ask letting my impatience take control.
Leaning back in his chair he smiles and waves his phone. "Location acquired, if the phones on we can track it"
At that I do smile because whether Anastasia has realised it or not she's just about handed herself back over to me.
She may have been raised in this world but she's naive to it all. From day one it was obvious she lets her emotions lead her actions and the easiest way to manipulate her emotions is through kindness.
Knocking her around and attempting to force her to be subdued would never work with someone like her. No, Anastasia needs to feel like she's listened to, understood.
After years of being ignored and controlled by her father, after the trauma he put her through her daddy issues are overwhelming. She's desperate to be loved and that desperate need causes her to be blind to the reality around her.
She run back to the men she very clearly loves but whatever reaction she's received from them has only turned her back towards me.
She won't tell them she's contact me, and there's not a doubt in my mind she'll reach out again. And when she does I'll be right there to tug on that tether to guide her back. I won't do it with violence and anger, that's not what she's perceptible to.
I meant it when I said she belonged to me now and by the time she realises it it'll be too late. She'll be too far sucked in.
"Do we send a team?" Bogdan asks
I shake my head and smile.
"There won't be any need, she'll come back willingly" I inform him, "when the times right I'll be there, not a moment too soon though"
"We hold back for now, make it seem we're not reacting" I say knowing my lack of action will cause the brothers to become uneasy and want to act first and when Anastasia tries to stop them it'll only further cause a divid.
