When Michael finished, he sat back up and ran his hands through his hair. His vision was blurry and he knew his face would be dark red. Something that happened whenever he was on the verge of tears.

Michael sighed and turned to Calum.

"Calum, I t-think I..I li-" Michael started to say but then stopped when he looked up. He could swear he saw a familiar quiff peek around the corner but it had disappeared.

Calum on the other hand hadn't noticed anything. He was still caught up on what what Michael was about to say.

He gasped, bring Michael back to him.

"Do you really think so, a-are you sure?"

Michael buried his face in his hands and said "Yeah..maybe, I don't know! I don't know anything anymore.."

Calum pulled him back into a hug and Michael leaned into him sniffling. He didn't know what he could say to help Michael except "It'll be okay, everything will be okay". All he knew was he hated seeing his best friend like this.
