Michael stepped over the fence and walked closer and closer to the grave stone. It was so prominent, Michael thought.
In big, swirly gold writing was engraved: Luke Robert Hemmings ~ 1996 - 2014, may we always treasure the memories and may be always be in our hearts.
Michael wanted to scoff at how accurate those words were and how much they meant to him, though he was sure Lukes parents would never have any idea. Below the grave stone was no lillies or flowers, but instead a small stone that was perfectly cut into a heart shape. Suddenly a wave of tears brought Michael to his knees and he quickly wiped them away with the back of his hand.
