"What do you think he wanted to tell us?" Taehyung asked as he and Jeongguk walked out of their room. They were heading to the prince's chambers to have a talk with him.

"I have no idea. He was unusually quiet this morning at breakfast as well." The omega recalled. Taehyung hummed at that. The prince had told them he wanted to talk with him about something last night, but after that, he hadn't spoken to them at all. His main servant had informed them to meet him at his private chambers.

"We have nineteen more days till the blood moon." Taehyung stated. Jeongguk already knew that, of course. The younger looked at him and nodded wordlessly. "I just don't think the Moon goddess will send us to Chyra this early for no reason," he said.

"I know. I think so too," Jeongguk sighed. "She hasn't appeared in our dreams after reaching Narva. It's a little weird."

"It's almost like even she doesn't know what's going to happen." Taehyung whispered. Jeongguk inhaled sharply.

"That can't be," he said almost to himself.

"We have to figure out the rest of the prophecy. But with no clue, how are we supposed to?" Taehyung muttered, frustrated. Jeongguk agreed with his dismay.

"Yeah, we need some kind of clue. I'm now sure there is more to the prophecy." His omega said and regarded him with worried eyes. Taehyung's blue eyes had darkened over, battling with his inner turmoil. Some big parts of this quest were clouded from them, and lord, wasn't that annoying.

"Why do you think I'm avoiding you?" A distant voice made them look back. They saw Lisa and Seokjin approaching them. The omega looked deflated, and the male looked to be frustrated.

"Because you haven't talked to me since last night,"

"I haven't talked to Jeongguk either. You're freaking out for no reason."

"This is different!"

"Now, I understand how you felt about me nagging at you."

"Lisa -"

"What's going on?" Jeongguk inquired when they came closer. Lisa threw her arm around his shoulder and leaned onto him.

"She is avoiding me." Seokjin pointed at the omega.

"I'm not!" She protested.

"I thought you both were over with avoiding thing." Taehyung grumbled. Seokjin shrugged and thrusted his finger at her again accusingly. "No offence, it's getting kind of annoying."

"He is a drama queen." Lisa smirked at her own words. Jeongguk giggled at that and began walking, pulling her along. Meanwhile, Taehyung and Seokjin fell into hushed arguments behind them.

"I miss Duri." Jeongguk said after a few seconds. Lisa looked at him and let out a chocked sigh.

"I was going to tell you the same thing. I wonder how they're all doing." She looked ahead as she spoke. Jeongguk bit his bottom lip to not sob.

"I could really use her comforting presence right now." He confessed. Lisa nodded.

"Everything is too much now." That all four of them could agree with. The fate of their world in their hands. The weight of the prophecy looming over them. All seemed to be too much.

They took the turn to the hallway, leading to Namjoon's chambers. But stopped when they saw Namjoon and a guard rushing towards them. They exchanged glances at the panicked look of the prince.

"What's wrong?" Taehyung asked when the prince got closer. Namjoon paused to catch his breath.

"Injured omegas outside the castle. Have to go," he said and ran past them. A wave of grief passed through the four of them. A sick thought formed in Jeongguk's mind.

"No, no, no!" He chanted and took after Namjoon. Taehyung wasted no second running after his omega. Seokjin looked at Lisa, whose eyes were glazed over. Her lips quivered. She grabbed his hand and dragged him to the outside of the palace.

Jeongguk pushed past the guards and royals and made his way to where the scent of distraught omegas were. He freezed on his spot when he looked at their faces. He hardly felt Taehyung's body stumbling onto him. Jeongguk's knees gave out, and he dropped to the ground. A sob erupted from his lips as he took ahold of the eldest omega's hand. She had dried blood on her clothes, and fresh scars littered her body. She held onto him tightly and cried.

"No, no!" Jeongguk sobbed out. The female omega pulled him close and cried onto his shoulder. Lisa's horrified gasp sounded behind him, and he saw her dropping to her knees next to him, cradling a younger omega in her arms. He felt Taehyung's hand on the back of his head, and he cried more.

"W-where is she? Where is Duri?" His voice broke at her name. Jihyo looked at him with sorrow. Her face was red from blood and tears. She looked up at the clear morning sky and back at him.

"With the stars, like she always dreamed of." She sobbed. A loud cry rang out from Jeongguk, and he crumpled. Taehyung quickly gathered him in his arm and held him close to his chest. Jeongguk weeped in his hold. Lisa wailed and hit herself. Seokjin laid her head onto his shoulder, and she clutched onto his shirt.

The alpha's eyes stung with tears as he held his crying mate in his arms. No one spoke. All the omegas were crying, including Jimin, who was trying his best not to make a sound. The alphas and betas outside remained quiet, letting the grief wash over them. Taehyung's tears rolled down his cheeks, landing on his pretty omega's hair. He buried his face in his long hair and held him tighter. Jeongguk's cries echoed in his ears. He breathed in the scent of wilting roses, not a bit liking that it came from his beautiful, grieving omega.

Lisa collected herself and looked around her family. There were thirty omegas in their pack when they left. Now, there were barely twelve. She scanned all of their faces, recognising the missing ones. Two pups were missing. She realised with horror, and another sob escaped her lips. She also noticed the lack of a fifteen year old pregnant omega.

"Where is Mina?" She asked Jihyo. Her voice was high-pitched and scratchy from crying. Jihyo looked down in despair.

"She was stabbed in her stomach," she murmed with a broken sob. Lisa fell onto Seokjin again with a horrified expression. Jeongguk's cries grew louder, and he held onto his alpha's comfort for dear life.

"You all should settle in our palace. We should talk inside." Jimin said after rubbing his face clear of tears. "We will also tend to your injuries," he promised. The weeping omegas regarded him with wariness, but he managed to smile at them as sincere as possible. His eyes glazed over once again with tears, seeing their utterly broken state.

"C'mon, baby. We need to take care of them." Taehyung whispered to Jeongguk and lifted him up. Jeongguk was still sobbing, so Taehyung figured he couldn't walk. He picked him up bridal style and began to walk. Jeongguk hid his face in his chest and wailed. The people made way for them, and Taehyung carried him inside. The palace omegas helped the injured ones and took them inside the palace as well. Seokjin helped Lisa and the youngest omega she was holding  to walk in.

The whole palace of Chyra was filled with sorrow and grief. The scents of the werewolves clouded the palace.
